"When we travel things that are important to us are bed comfort, cleanliness, and the shower. Jack Pines met all 3 well. We were not sure if we were going to stay there or not and tired to get hold of the manager but she never got back with us, then we decided to stay but the reservation had been cancelled -- fortunately when we showed up the reservation was still ok, but it could have been a disaster. It's a lovely and nice cozy setting and the rooms were done nicely. For the price we paid, I would have expected a blow dryer in the room, but at least they got me one. A bit on the pricey side..."

"It felt like home away from home. Everything listed as an amenity was accurate plus some extras we didn't expect. Easy check in and check out. A question we had was answered immediately and taken care of. Excellent response time!! Our only issue was finding the correct driveway. Even though we had Google maps with the correct address listed, we were taken to the wrong one. Twice. There is a small sign announcing the river cabin but we didn't see it until after circling around and were already turning into the correct driveway. I will be keeping this property on the "stay here" list if ever we are in the area again."

"The host met us during check-in and check-out and once during our stay. We appreciated his accessibility and desire to help ensure a 5-star experience. I noted in one review prior to our arrival someone asked for a wagon to carry things down to the dock. Sure enough, a wagon was available for us when we arrived. We didn't use the wagon but appreciated the owners' responsiveness to feedback. The only improvement I might suggest is flatter pillows. I slept with a towel because the pillows were a little too fluffy for this stomach sleeper. Nonetheless, the trip will be remembered for the luxury lake-side living it was. Thank you!"

"We stayed at this beautiful cabin on Long Lost Lake for our anniversary, and it was truly the perfect getaway! When the hosts found out we were celebrating, they even surprised us with a thoughtful gift, which made our stay feel extra special.The cabin is beautifully designed and decorated with a modern rustic feel, gorgeous woodwork, and all the amenities we needed. We especially loved relaxing on the screened-in porch with the hot tub and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.Having use of the pontoon was such a great bonus! One of our hosts even took us out for a quick tour and showed us some of the best fishing spots on the lake. Long Lost Lake is so quiet and serene—it truly feels like an escape from everything.The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. This was such a peaceful and memorable anniversary getaway, and one we will never forget. We would absolutely love to come back!"

"Very nice place. Beautiful inside and out. Had everything we needed for a weekend with the kids and their families. My 15 year old grandson was thrilled to look out the window 1 night and see a bear wandering through the property. We were truly blessed ."
