    Steps away to Lake Independence Boat Launch and Park. Access to Lake Superior too. Bicyclists love the U.P. and Big Bay accommodates them as well. We are close to the Big Bay Pathway Trailhead for Non Motorized vehicles only. Snowmobiles flock here as a major intersection for trails. Near trail UP 14 and UP 5.

    Steps away from The Lumberjack Tavern for delicious food, drinks and locals. Also the movie site of the movie Anatomy of a Murder - true story that became a Hollywood hit.
