Has potential but NEEDED attention

The house is cute and has such great potential but needs some maintenance. The property management company needs to have a proper check list to make sure it’s in good shape for tenets. Basics like having the water heater on (we couldn’t get it going and a maintenance person had to come out. We didn’t have hot water for the first day/ night of our trip and for a quick two night trip that’s disappointing). Dish towels, nor paper towels were available. The bathroom room was broken and very challenging to use and it was on the only full bathroom. The house should be advertised as a 1.5 bathroom house as the downstairs bathroom has a tub but the shower function is not practical and leaks all over the bathroom floor. The owner and property managers were quick to respond which I really appreciated and overall the house was clean but very basic things you would expect for overall comfort, especially at this price, were overlooked. I’m confident that the owners will be getting these things taken care of for future guests and for that I would recommend the house, I’m just disappointed that it impacted our stay.
