Big Bear City

"This place was not as advertised, and should honestly be taken down as an option to stay at until things get improved or drop the price significantly. It smelled horrible and old. It was freezing. The mattress had stains on it. The hot tub that was advertised was covered in dirt, pine needles and bird poop. The decor is overwhelming and straight from the 60s and not in a charming way. The photos on this site do not represent to the real degree of what this place looked like. I took both videos...

Mountain Bliss

10/10 Excellent

"This place was so nice and cozy, i would say better than the pictures even. Fireplaces upstairs and downstairs were a hit, and it was super quiet at nice. A great place to get away and rest. We even extended our stay and had them deliver more firewood it was so nice. I would gladly return, or at least see what else Cool Cabins has to offer. Close to the lake and shops nearby, but away from traffic and backs onto the forest. Whats not to like?"

Family cabin: Hot tub, firepit, game room, fenced, BBQ, movie lineup

8/10 Good

"The property is beautiful and has a lot of amenities. The game room was perfect! My boys loved the table games. The cabin was adorable and had many cute touches. The spa was very relaxing but a little difficult to use the cover. It also didn’t have quite enough water so the jets were pretty loud. Communication was difficult. We left a message about having a late check out and it was never answered. Also there was a mandated power outage for several hours on Saturday, and the owner didn’t let us know until the power had almost been returned. It was slightly inconvenient because we wanted to relax at the cabin. Had we been well notified, we probably would have stayed out for most of the afternoon. Overall, it’s a very cute cabin and we had a great stay!"

The Nut House: Peaceful 1-bedroom cabin in beautiful Big Bear getaway

10/10 Excellent

"Great, cozy little place. The bed was comfortable and the coffee was good. The two things that truly matter. One bummer, unfortunately the main fireplace was under maintenance and we couldn't get the bedroom one to turn on either. Will definitely book again if we come up here again."

New! Bearadise ~ Peaceful Pinegrove Chalet

8/10 Good

"Overall we really enjoyed the cabin. The deck and the yard are such a nice feature for summer renting! The beds were comfy and the bedrooms were spacious. The place feels very cozy and welcoming. The kitchen is huge but come use some more pots, pans, utensils, storage containers, etc. What I would suggest is to fix the stairs. I am a Realtor so I now what home inspectors look for and those stairs to the 2nd floor don't have a bullnose and the runners are loose and just placed on each step which is a major slip & fall hazard! We were very carful and found ourselves walking side ways down the steps to avoid a potential fall.I would have given it 5 stairs if it weren't for the stairs."
