    This spacious 2600 sq home is located in Moonridge area in Big Bear Lake, California. It was built in 2005 and sits hidden under 200 ft pine trees, the home is less then a mile walking distance to the golf course and ski resorts. Theres 5 bedrooms bedrooms 1. Is master with 1 king on ground level. Bedroom # 2 has queen on ground level. Bedroom 3 had 1 queen and a crib on 2nd floor. Bedroom 4 has 4 twins and a bathroom and its great for kids. The 5th bedroom i left the wall out and made it a 2nd family room with twin bunkbeds and a pull out couch, 55” flat screen smart TV with a deck. This spacious 2600 sq cabin has 2 full refridgetor, a wine chiller in the bar, all stainless steel appliances and fully furnished worh pots and pans. Great for family reunions and just relaxing.

    The home is so complete that it can accommodate any type of individual whether it be relaxing by the wood burning fire or if you choose to entertain the house is equipped with two 50 inch HDMI TV's, two surround sound stereo systems, wireless internet, DVR and two comfortable family rooms.

    Also the cabin has a crib and high chair and baby gate around the the fire place, there’s two full size refrigerators, wine chiller and an eight person Jacuzzi on the private back deck. This home/cabin is a wonderful place for a family of twelve or less or for those looking for that romantic getaway.P.S Please review the calendar and make sure your dates are available before inquiring!!Also this house is NOT DOG FRIENDLY, due to children with allergies. Ring video doorbell, Electric door lock and security system with camera for security.

We loved staying at Gary’s cabin! It is so spacious and has everything you could need. It was so great having that second refrigerator and living area for my big family. We would definitely love to come back again and again!

We had such an amazing stay! Gary checked in with us throughout our stay and made sure we had everything that we needed. He made sure the place was warm and cozy for our arrival. The house had so much space that all of the kiddos had plenty of space to play and have fun. We really appreciated the baby proofing for our two toddlers. We will definitely be going back!

Everything was great. Gary was prompt to reply and answer all questions clearly. House is well located, comfortable and quiet. Kitchen was well equipped and coming areas were large to accommodate everyone. The listing says 3 bathrooms. the one in the second floor has a sink, toilet and a tub/sower in were the sower

The home is very spacious & comfortable in a quiet neighborhood Beautiful & well stocked kitchen You can have morning coffee in the front room with sunlight streaming through the windows or lunch & cocktails on the patio. We had a fantastic stay with plenty of room for my family. Really enjoyed the deck and grill. The master suite was fantastic with plenty of room for my oxygen equipment.

Only 5 stars? I really want to get him 500 stars. Here is clean and big house, the space really enough and it’s a really friendly place for my kidsss, this year the snow not good, we are not go ski , but our family really have fun in this house. And i forgot my phone when i left, but the host fond it and contact we me, he not ask any for shipping. I have to say this is reliable credible host and place. This is my top choice in 2026

Family Friendly

This cabin was very family friendly. There was plenty of space in the kitchen for family cooking and having a second fridge was nice addition an extended stay. All kitchen appliances and cookware were usable. The bedrooms nicely accommodated our extended family get-away with one room having a crib for the baby. The location of this cabin was perfect being a short walk from the zoo and coffee shop and a short drive to the ski resort. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice Family Birthday Stay

Property was very clean and spacious and it suited our family needs well. Location and the kitchen were great. The AC was a plus given the warm summer weather. Both the host and property manager were very nice. Only negatives were a non-functioning grill and very wrinkled rugs throughout the property which became tripping hazards. Also most of the beds were a bit firm. Overall we had a very nice stay

Great place to have family to just unwind and enjoy the weekend.

We had a great stay this past weekend with my family. Easy check-in and check-out. Gary was very responsive. Maybe one thing I can suggest is that the light inside the baby room with the crib is very dim but maybe it’s made that way. But regardless, the place was clean, the temperature inside cabin is comfortable, and it’s close to other amenities. Overall, if you’re thinking of booking a getaway with your family, choose this place!

Great Mountain Cabin

We were very happy with our stay. The location of the home was wonderful- close access to trails and a short drive downtown. The house was clean and well stocked. Even a high chair and booster seat! The owner is incredibly kind and responsive. The only reason I gave this 4/5 stars is because the house wasn’t as baby proof as stated in the listing. The gate around the fireplace was up. But the baby gate upstairs was broken. I believe they are in the process of repairing it. Overall great stay!

Family of 5 - ski trip to Big Bear - clean and close by

Property was clean, well appointed and wonderfully close to skiing. Property manager was communicative and flexible with our requests. Please note that to use the hot tub, you’ll need to get specific instructions from the host, and then wait for the hot tub to heat up. Unfortunately, we missed the instructions (our fault) and only ended up getting access to the tub on the last of the few nights we stayed. We weren’t able to make use of it, because it took more than a couple of hours to heat. All in all, a great trip, and nice location. Would definitely return to the property.

Great value

A very good house for a great value. Had plenty of space for our whole family. The kids loved their upstairs room, though it was quite warm during the day. The owner says he's fixing that soon, and at night it cooled off just fine. The kitchen is great. The living room and den were perfect areas for different groups to watch T.V. and hang out. The location is central to everything Big Bear. All the houses are packed in close together, but there's a unique charm to seeing all the different architectures. Also within easy walking distance to trails and the zoo. Owner and property manager were very responsive and helpful. We had a great time and the value we got just can't be beat for a family our size.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!

It was the best time making amazing memories for my kid and her friends! We were greeted by Randy the property manager who was kind enough to unload our Instacart delivery and put things in the fridge or freezer as we were going to be arriving later in the evening. The house was exactly as pictured and even better!! We needed nothing as everything was there. Communicating with the manager and owner was super amazing! The house was clean, cozy and had a great layout for our group of 13!! Everyone was able to have a place to sleep and everything was more than comfortable! The memories made while staying there will last everyone a lifetime!! We couldn't be more pleased with how everything went and would love to do it all again!!

Cozy cabin with an exceptional owner

We had plenty of room to roam around as we brought our families together for a weekend full of skiing and snow. The kitchen was stocked with kitchen gadgets, bakeware, spices, and such. All the beds had comfortable mattresses and there were plenty of extra blankets. The owner, Gary, was quick to respond when I had a question, but he went above and beyond after we checked out. We somehow forgot our child's most precious baby blanket. I reached out to Gary and his cleaning crew found the blanket! It was wrapped up between the sheets of her bed and he got it back to us two days later. Thank you Gary!

Very good value property

For the price this cabin was a good stay. It is not as fancy as others we have stayed in, but that is also reflected in the price. Communication with the owner was excellent, he was always very prompt to respond. Had some trouble getting the door to lock when leaving but he was able to lock it remotely. The location was very quiet and the hot tub works well and was very clean. The downstairs beds were very comfortable. The cabin is advertised as air conditioned, but it’s only about half the house. It gets cool at night so not an issue for sleeping with open windows, but some rooms were warm during the day. Apart from the a/c, the only other thing was two or the three bathrooms have saloon doors vs full doors when connected to the bedroom, which can make privacy a little awkward when sharing the space with friends, but overall we would recommend this cabin if it fits your budget.

Great location, great host

We loved the location of the house as it was so convenient for our kids' first ski trip! Gary was very responsive and answered all of my questions. I'm giving the property a 4 star rating overall b/c of two reasons: 1. the attic room where our kids slept was really cold over our stay and it didn't seem like heat got up to that room. Thankfully there was a space heater but I wanted to flag it to Gary in case he didn't know. 2. the house isn't fully baby proofed like it said in the description. The baby gate is not attached at the top of the stairs and there's nothing at the bottom of the stairs. The fireplace was definitely baby proofed so that was good. The baby monitors are also not working and I even tried to change out batteries. With a few small adjustments, we would be happy to stay here again!

Not as Baby Proofed as expected

Overall the property was great, the babyproof in the title drew us in as we had our 1 year old with us, the crib and high chair were super convenient but the baby gate at the top of the stairs was broken, only a handful of outlets had covering and only two doors had handle covers. With babyproof in the title we were expecting a little more. Only other inconvenience is the upstairs bathroom. The shower would only be able to be used by a child as the ceiling over the shower can’t be more than 4ft high. Also the door situation is a Jack and Jill style with only one real door, the other side doesn’t fully close so if someone needs to use the restroom the occupants of the bedroom hear everything. The price, location and communication were all great, had we not had the expectations of more childproofing it would be a full 5 stars down the row.
