Cozy Pet Friendly Cabin! - 2 blocks from Bear Mountain in Southern California

(Please note we received some feedback that our check in company is charging a huge fee for pet issues, we apologize and are correcting this. Pets of course are allowed on furniture, we have two dogs ourselves and we have rented to guests with pets for years and never once charged anyone a fine)

Cozy cabin in the woods on Bear mountain just 2 blocks to skiing or mountain biking. Walk to the hill and ski down. Also close to hiking trails. Large deck with grill and nice outdoor space. Private location and a large deck. Cabin has beautiful stone fireplace, log beds, Netflix tv and high speed wifi. Sleeps 4 adults and extra young children are ok. Master bedroom has double bed, second bedroom has double bunkbed, sofa bed also available in living room. Bathroom is through the master. Great little cabin for a family trip to Big Bear. Short drive to lake and downtown. Pets are considered upon request. Super close to lifts!

Great location for anyone that wants to hit the slopes. Literally just around the corner. The cabin was clean and ready for us when we arrived.

The name says it all, COZY CABIN. Very nice cabin to spend family fun, My wife was impressed with how everything was set up. We felt very comfortable there. Beautiful and peaceful.

Cozy cabin

Loved it, conveniently located (minutes to town and walking distance to bear mountain) we walked to ski lessons. Kids had a blast riding their sled in the driveway! Heat works well, water takes a few minutes to heat but lasts a long time. Washer/dryer combo to dry wet clothes after playing in the snow! Great little cabin! Hope to plan another trip before too long!

Generally good. Close to the zoo and restaurants (as well as snow activities). Cozy. One negative was that it seemed like maybe the cleaning service missed under the bunk beds as we found quite a bit of leftover trash and wrappers.

Great for families

Super clean cabin. Our host was fast to message back when I had a question. Location was great as well. It was far enough that you got feeling of being out in nature but if you forget anything it's a super short drive to Vons or Walgreens. Lots of trails for mountains biking and if you come in the winter it's a 2 min drive to the lifts. We'll be returning this winter.

It was cool it was fun. It was close to the mountain. You could walk if you wanted to go a little bit of dollars for walking if that’s what you choose but it was perfect.

Small and Cozy

The cabin was definitely small but accommodated my family of four perfectly. Appliances worked great but the TV is a little small. The Cabin has some fun games to play with the family which is fun for all ages. The location to Big Bear Mountain is awesome! If you’re staying multiple days and are planning on hitting the mountain then keep your vehicle at cabin and enjoy a short walk and avoid paying a parking fee.

Pros : Great location very private , the balcony is a dream ! We loved how cozy the house got with a fireplace Cons : bathroom was in the master bedroom , the driveway is steep “ but private “ . Would be difficult to drive and reverse off that driveway in the winter when it’s icy ! House felt a bit dark no natural light inside . Very strict rules! If the maid says there was 1 dog hair on couch u get fined up to 500$ and u have to sign twice ! That’s s bit strict ?makes it not pet friendly , and I didn’t see any soap ?

This was exactly what I had in mind when thinking about staying in a cozy cabin in the woods! Very nice interior and very welcoming. The host was very responsive and gave greatly detailed instructions for everything. The only reason I won’t give it the fifth star is due to the shower having the water fluctuate a bit too often between cold and hot. Sinks had no issues maintaining hot water. Wonderful stay overall!

Nice cozy cabin. It worked for my husband, myself and our dog. I thought the one of the days we would be confined to the cabin due to rain. It didn't rain and we spent sometime sitting on the back porch in the sun. We had a nice time.

Host communication was great and the cabin was very cozy and nice. Only complaint is that the cabin wasn't maintained properly by the cleaners. None of the trash can had garage bags, no paper towel in the holder and just one partially used toilet paper. The back deck was messy and I ended cleaning it up because I didn't want to be blamed.
