Beautiful Veiws, with Mediocre accomadations
Let me start by saying that the location and views of the cabin were perfect. Conveniently located next to big bear mountain and down the road from moonridge village. The Jacuzzi also ran hot. But unfortunately i questioned the cleanliness of the cabin, we checked in late due to not being informed until 4:04 pm that we could head up to cabin. When we got there I immediately notice a winding staircase that we could not fit our luggage up. So we had to leave all of our luggage on the ground floor. Also the staircase was very dangerous for our 2 year old and i think it would be dangerous for any child under 8. We also couldn't access 2 of the patio decks that were pictured in their vrbo page due to the patios being covered in hard ice snow. The coffee pot was also still half filled with old and uncleaned from the previous renters. There were also dead flies in the spare bedroom's nightstand meaning they probably didnt wipe down surfaces. The bathroom mat upstairs was covered in dog hair, so i wonder if they even vaccummed. After seeing this we washed sheets and blankets that we could and used extra towels to sit on the couch and beds. I was kind of questioning the cleanliness the whole time i was there. Although the view was perfection, im not sure i would pay as much as i did to stay in a half cleaned cabin.
