"We arrived at the hotel early, pleasantly surprised our room was all ready for us. We were greeted in a friendly manner at check in and check out We stayed in an assisted room. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Having knee issues I appreciated all the safety bars in the tub/shower. As well as by the toilet. Breakfast both mornings were delicious with many choices. The breakfast staff were very friendly."

"The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The place was clean and the view is beautiful. A very cozy cottage on a very quiet lake (few cottages) which is what I particularly like as the lake was very quiet and all I could hear was nature when canoeing"

"I booked the Strata hotel for a quick getaway in Kingston. I was looking for a reasonable price, good hotel and central location. The first appearance from the outside was slightly surprising as it is in an older strip mall, but the hotel, rooms, and staff were fantastic. The lobby is lovely, staff were very nice and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. It was a great value for what we paid and I would book it again and recommend to others."

"Our third time here over the last couple years. It is our “go to” place in Westport after trying a couple places. We arrive by small boat (18’) and can dock there for free when a room is booked. Great location for walking around town. They serve a continental breakfast but we always go find a local place for a hot brekky. They have a good supper and drinks menu, lots of live entertainment, but you can always walk to a local restaurant in town as well. It’s a very nice community and very safe to walk all around, day or night."

"This is a difficult review to write, and I needed to wait a while after my stay to make sure it was fair to the owners. Let me say, that for a cozy cabin get-away, without having to get away, a weekend to unplug from your devices and enjoy the wildlife and nature and a short trip to Westport than this is your listing. Unfortunately, the pictures of the property are, in my opinion, rather dishonest. The first few pictures are not even of the cabin we stayed in. Other pictures do not accurately depict how small the space actually is, and even has pictures of what I assume is the property owners house. If you quickly browse the listing like I did, you will be dissapointed. But if you read through the lengthy description of the property details it is not like they tried to hide anything, but I need to dock points on accuracy of the listing for the pictures, making the space appear larger.During our stay our internet was spotty, you could use it to view E-mails but videos would be a challange. Property owners were VERY NICE. 2 cats and a dog on the property were also very friendly."

"It was a very nice cozy little cottage, just right for 2 people. The area was beautiful. The only down fall was that we found we had to do alot of driving to get tim Hortons or groceries. Other than that it was great! Water was super clear as well. We caught a ton of fish which was great! I would suggest removing the hot tub, as although it wasnt listed in the amenities, the picture led us to believe we would have use of it, my bad. Lol very minimal requests for departure other than to run the dishwasher! Everything we needed was there. Host was very quick to respond. Thank you for our honeymoon escapeJen and Jim"
