Only 3 minutes from the boat launch at Big Lake South Recreation Site, this property serves as the perfect home base for year round Alaska fun! This charming home was built in 2021 and was designed with comfort and functionality in mind. Guests will enjoy the open floor plan and spacious covered porch. This property provides all the comforts of home such as luxurious linens, a fully stocked kitchen, high speed wifi, and a flat screen TV.

The master bedrooms feature a queen size bed and an en-suite bathroom, while the second bedroom offers a full size bed and a twin size bed. A second full bathroom and a washer/dryer complete this home.

This property is the perfect choice for a weekend at the lake with the family or a romantic getaway!

The driveway provides plenty of parking for a boat or snow machine trailer.

Please note that this property is NOT lakefront. It is located 1.7 miles from Big Lake public access.

Alaska trip

We were visiting family who live in Big Lake. We went mushing with Happy Trails, flying over a glacier, saw the animals at the reindeer farm, saw a mother and baby moose and a bald Eagle by the house and had coffee at all the cute small coffee shops
