"Checked in and asked about coffee in room and front desk person said not o. Room but coffee in breakfast room 24 hours. She knew I was disappointed. Got in our room and it smelled of cigarettes. So back down to front desk for different room. She said she’d give us a room on first floor that was just updated. Got to room and was disappointed. The bathroom was updated with a new vanity and a new toilet that was the lowest I had ever seen. It was approximately 20” from the floor and it was leaking at the bottom and stained the grout brown at the floor. The tile grout on the entire. floor was very dirty and black. Kinda disgusting but it was 10:30 pm so we were staying but not happily. To make matters worse there was a sign on the desk that said if you want a kuerig in your room just ask the front desk. How ridiculous that the front desk didn’t offer when I voiced my displeasure about in room coffee. And to top it off, and I know it was a Saturday night and graduations in town, but the party in the next room didn’t end until 2am. I know this is long but we’ve stayed in lots of hotels in the past couple of years and I can’t remember being so unhappy."

"We had a fantastic time and the space worked really well for our needs. Major highlights for us was the provided appliances in the kitchen were plentiful and made it easier to stay in. The available firewood was really appreciated and the VHS tape collection was fantastic and well enjoyed."

"The room was clean, the shower was in poor condition with water spring out the side and so much hard water buildup that was hardly a spray to shower in. The mattresses were hardened and comfortable. Stayed one night and left the next morning before breakfast. Not sure I'll get refunded for my second night."

"Don’t let the pot holes in the parking lot or older style building make you turn the other way. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable."

"We really enjoyed our weekend away. Loved the hot tub and the view! Bed was comfy. Cabin was cute. Owners were very nice. Only complaint from the weekend would be the bathroom being a bit awkward. Otherwise we loved our stay! "

"The cottage exceeded our expectations! The setting was quiet and peaceful, the cottage was clean, comfortable, and well set up. We appreciated that there was pretty much everything we needed/wanted stocked in the kitchen including several extras like a crockpot, blender, toaster, etc. The view was beautiful and was just right for our weekend. The only issue we had was that the internet went out for a while due to flooding nearby, but that was obviously out of the control of the host and they even sent us a kind note about it. Wonderful experience, would definitely stay there again!"

"Room was clean, but had an old cigarette smell. Shower head needed to be cleaned. Bedding and towels were clean. Comfortable room overall. Hallway and stairwell was very unkept. Quiet, would stay again."
