Family-friendly, well stocked, vacation home in Big Sky Resort Mountain Village with hot tub and four parking spots
One of the largest Black Eagle homes, this spacious, 3250 sq. ft. townhome has been meticulously maintained. It's gorgeous from top to bottom, but still provides the comfort of home. With 4 bedrooms (including a large bunk room with queen bed + sofa bed + twin bunkbed), plus a loft with an additional sofa bed, and 4 1/2 bathrooms, it accommodates up to 12, includes parking for 4 vehicles, and there's a hot tub on the main level deck! A perfect mountain home getaway where guests return year after year.
Located in Big Sky's Mountain Village, you will be walking distance to the Big Sky Resort "Base Camp" — where you can take in the mountain views and dine-in or grab a quick bite at one of the many restaurants, cafes, or chic lounges. Shopping is plentiful, including a small grocery market, and the resort hotels feature day spas and childcare options.
In the winter months, enjoy world-class skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing, tubing, and even zip lining! Summer on the mountain offers amazing hikes, bike trails, and a fun kids adventure area. At Lake Levinksky, take in paddle boarding, kayaking, picnicing, or simply playing in the sand. Scenic chairlift rides and zip lining are offered in both seasons. And, you can leave your car in the garage, it's all within walking distance.
The 10-minute drive down the mountain to Town Center opens up more shopping and dining, plus golf, fly fishing, hiking, tennis courts, parks, and a new indoor recreation center. Horseback riding, white water rafting, ATV tours, snowmobile tours, chuck wagon dinners, and hot air balloon rides are all available in the surrounding area of Big Sky!
Yellowstone Park is a short drive south on US - 191 (approximately 45 minutes)
SKI ACCESS: Suitable for all levels of skiers, however beginners will want to follow beginner directions below (especially for ski-in).
Ski (or walk) Out: Step out the garage, turn right to connect to the Bear Back Poma lift. At the top of the Poma, you will ski a groomed access run to the Ramcharger and Swift Current lifts at the base area. Please Note: During periods of melting snow, you may need to walk from the townhome, approximately 75 yards, to the Bear Back Poma lift.
Ski (or walk) In: - Intermediate and Expert skiers can ski Silver Knife to the Bear Back Poma lift. Follow the Poma down, but don't go all the way to the bottom. You will see ski tracks to the left where skiers have cut behind the Black Eagle townhomes to access the back door or garage. - Beginners should ski to the Summit Hotel and take the short walk down the road to the townhome.

We brought 2 families and really enjoyed our stay. Great house and great location. We were not able to utilize the ski in/ ski out because of so much snow but not a bad problem to have!
The place was very nice and located in the heart of everything. It is more ski-in than ski-out, but the ski-out is a very short walk away. Ski-in got us about 2 units away which was very nice.
Our group of 6 and children had a wonderful time at this property- the location couldn’t be beat and they had every amenity you could think of. Easy walk up the mountain to take the kids to ski lessons and easy trek to the Poma lift to ski in, ski out. Would definitely stay here again!
Amazing townhome in perfect location for Big Sky skiing! Large enough for two families with kids to walk to base so we didn’t even need to rent a car. We hope to return soon!
The home was ideal for our family with 4 different groups of parents and kids under 2. The property offers so many nice features for a large group, and the location is exceptional for skiing. Can’t go wrong.
Skiing with old college friends and this was a great spot. Walking distance to base of mountain for ski adventures. House is stylish and well designed, the large open floor plan on the main floor allowed for big meals and lots of time spent catching up.

Our property was perfect for 3 families, each with infants. The main bedrooms were all on separate levels, allowing for privacy. We loved the baby supplies as well as the fantastic kitchen. We spent so much time all together on the main level, as the layout was perfect for our big group. We loved this place.
Black Eagle 26 is possibly the best location at Big Sky to host a larger group (up to 14). The 4-person (full size adults) hot tub on the deck with a direct view of Lone Peak is amazing any time of day or night. Communication with the property owner and the building management team also excellent. We had an issue with the stove that was addressed almost immediately. Highly recommend this property and I've stayed at over 10 Big Sky properties.
We truly enjoyed our stay in this incredible home. The location is ideal for skiers -- super easy to get out on the mountain and ski right back in! The home is very well stocked with everything you would need. Having our own hot tub is always a plus!! We had a private chef come in one night for dinner (sweettomatochef.com) and she raved about the kitchen too! We were so grateful for all of the games and the amenities you had on hand for our infant granddaughter (pack'n play, high chair, baby seat, etc). Brent was wonderful to work with and very on top of it all! It was very easy to book and communicate with him. We will definitely put this home at the top of our list when we go back to Big Sky!!
This is our families eighth stay in the black Eagle Lodge complex, and our second time staying in unit 26. In summary I would say that we have stayed at both nicer units within black eagle as well as worse units. I would put this unit in the top 3 with respect to upkeep, appliances, and general appearances. Brent has been a pleasure to work with, and is very responsive. If I were to make any suggestions about ways to improve the property, it would be with regards to upgrading the size of the televisions, particularly in the family room, restocking some of the kitchen utensils, and providing a newer mattress and pillows in the master bedroom. Otherwise it’s good unit, and certainly a very very pleasant experience to work with property, owner and manager.
House and host were fantastic. Kim was very responsive and welcoming.........would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for an awesome place to stay in Big Sky!!!
