Had a wonderful stay at Beehive Lodge. Plenty of room, great location. Hot tub was a definite plus after a day on the slopes. Would be happy to stay here again if we find ourselves back at Big Sky.
The house was perfect for our family! Loved the size, layout, and ambiance. There were some problems with the heat, but the maintenance team did their best to help us. We are a fit, active family and we enjoyed the process of skiing/poling/climbing to get from the house to the chairlifts and back--but you will need energy to do it! We were grateful that there was plenty of snow to make the journey both ways. Be prepared for a fun workout both ways! We'd love to go back there!!
Beautiful home right in the mountains, gorgeous view, tranquil setting, easy access to the slopes- kitchen well appointed, made it easy to cook for a large family. Very comfortable, felt like we spent the Holidays at home!
We have stayed here numerous times and we have never been disappointed. It's a nice and comfortable place to stay in a perfect location. We already have a return trip booked for February.

Nice place and an easy rental
We enjoyed our stay here. Ski in / ski out requires some traversing, but it is possible. The rental company was easy to work with. Quick responses.
Great week! House was everything we wanted it to be.

Best Christmas ever
We stayed here over Christmas break and it was magical! We were three families with three kids ages 6 and under and each family had plenty of space with room to spare. We skied every day, the location was perfect! Comfy beds, very clean house, fully stocked kitchen, incredible views, fabulous hot tub, stocked bathrooms with hair dryers, shampoo, e.t.c. Very pleased with our stay, thank you for sharing your home with us!
We couldn't have asked for more. Close/easy access to all activities and the view from the family room was spectacular. The kitchen had everything you would want, homey, clean. There is a snow shoeing trail just up the street and the ski lift is close by. It's a home that you are staying in and not a rental/vacation home. We will book this home again.

Behive Lodge at Big Sky
We couldn't have been more pleased with this property and I want to commend the owners for having such a nice place that they are willing to share with others. Very well maintained, all we needed for the family, quality cooking utensils, comfortable beds, linens, towels, more than enough TVs and close to everything you need to get too. If available again, we'd look to rent here in the future. We finally figured out the fireplaces, but it would be good to leave a guide for the damper settings for the first floor unit and some instructions for the basement unit with the remote. Again, great place and we really enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous property with amazing views
This property is great for a family retreat. A well stocked kitchen, internet, cable, comfortable beds and cozy living rooms with fireplaces. The three-story layout made it really lovely for our Thanksgiving holiday where the kids could be playing in an area, football on the TV in other areas, and people had space to take naps as needed. Overall, the house was clean. However, there was a lot of dog hair in the rugs that created allergy problems for one of our guests. My young son also wanted to have a jet bath and when we turned it on there was lots of mold. We would stay again and loved the property.
Our group of 6 adults found the house to be very comfortable, with plenty of space and a great view of Lone Mountain. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The reason for 4* was challenges with the management company. The hot tub wasn’t working when we arrived so we called vacasa. They obviously didn’t want to send anyone out as they challenged us to fix it ourselves (‘look for an electronical box on the hot tub’) the first day and then waited 7 hours to send anyone out the 2nd day after we called in the morning so lost half the trip. The other caveat as noted by other reviews is that while it is technically ski in/out, it’s probably 15 minutes to get to the resort with sime xc skiing and 30-45 minutes to get back. You need a solid baselevel of fitness as there are lots of flat spots, stairs and a rope pull required to get home. Can’t imagine doing with small children.
But definitely a 5* house there was better service.

4.0 - 4.5 Stars
Just stayed at the house over New Years week. House was clean upon arrival and was pretty much as advertised. Loved the 2 living areas with big TV's especially for the kids to be downstairs in their own area. Everything worked and kitchen was stocked nicely for cooking in which we did 4 of 7 nights. Bedrooms and bedding were good. Nice wood burning fireplace with tons of dried wood in the garage. Hot tub worked perfect and easy to uncover and cover back up. We had 9" snow and snow plow can 2X to clear the driveway and 1X a person came to shovel snow from the deck and steps. appreciated this as with 9" getting out of the driveway even with 4 wheel would have been a challenge
A few suggestions for improvements which would make it truly 5 Stars(also note we stayed at the highest of the rates...so that impacts my rating some)
Tacky/unprofessional signage around the house and threat to be charged extra
Myers bathroom and kitchen soap was watered down.
Bar soap in the showers...why no bath gels?
not enough bath tissue or paper towels for a week stay
only 3 1/2 bath not 4 as advertised
Ski in/out I guess is technically feasible but even after getting directions had no idea how to even attempt it and certainly no beginner or kids could do it
garage very tight fit with owners car (I think the owner could have parked closer to the other side for more room in the open spot
all in all a very good stay and again paying double or more rates for the New Years week..for me to give 5 stars it has to be perfect
I do recommend the property and our family did enjoy the stay
