Powder Ridge Cabin Rosebud 2 is the idyllic Big Sky accommodation, centrally located only minutes from Big Sky Resort Mountain Village with easy ski-in/ski-out access, spectacular Spanish Peaks views and all the comforts of home. This 4 Bedroom 3 Bathroom alpine cabin sets the tone for a memorable mountain vacation.
Boasting 2,500 sq ft of living space over three levels and an awesome bonus TV room, Rosebud 2 is ideal for large groups looking for both space and comfort. The open plan living area features hardwood floors, hand-hewn logs, a stone clad wood burning fireplace and a mountain modern ambiance. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and amenities with seating at the bar counter and an adjoining dining table.
The four bedrooms are spread over all 3 levels of the home allowing for privacy. The main level of the home features a queen bedroom and king bedroom sharing a bathroom. There is an en-suite bedroom with two twin-over-full bunks on the lower level and a master king en-suite in the loft area with exceptional pillow views!
Rosebud 2 has two exterior decks to enjoy outdoor living. Whether you’re enjoying a BBQ and panoramic Spanish Peaks views or soaking and stargazing in your private hot tub surrounded by evergreens, it’s easy to relax, unwind and reconnect with friends, family and nature.
Powder Ridge Cabins are only minutes from Big Sky Mountain Village, the central base of all things Big Sky! A wide range of dining options, vibrant après ski, world-class shopping, year-round activities and events only a few minutes away. A quick jaunt to Moonlight Basin and Lone Mountain or travel the extra distance, only 45 scenic miles to the entrance of West Yellowstone.

Ski Access: Located near the Rising Bull access in Powder Ridge. Anticipated opening date for White Otter lift is mid December, but the lift may open earlier in the season depending on snow conditions. The lift typically closes in mid April, prior to resort closing. The cabin is not ski-in/out when White Otter Lift is not running. Please inquire for details.
Ski Out: Put skis on in front of cabin. Take a left out of the driveway and hop on the Buffalo Hide access trail to the right before Rising Bull Road. Follow this access trail along the road. The Buffalo Hide access trail will cross Rising Bull Road and head downhill towards White Otter chairlift. You should see the maintenance building on your right. Load the White Otter chairlift. At the top., exit White Otter Lift and turn left. Cross to the right of White Wing Run and follow the sign on skier’s right for Big Sky Base Area. This is a hard right and requires keeping up your speed. (Green access) Note: In periods of melting it may be necessary to take skis off to cross the road at Rising Bull
Ski In: Follow Lower Morningstar to FIRST set of Powder Ridge signs on the left onto Bozeman Trail towards Rosebud Bridge/Rising Bull Access. Veer left on Rising Bull and follow the signs towards Chief Gull/Buffalo Hide Access. Turn right off of Rising Bull and take an immediate left onto Buffalo Hide Access before the cabins. Follow this trail all the way to your cabin, which is the last home before the access trail crosses the road.

The house was amazing and our stay was great. The location was spot on for skiing with a family. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and the kitchen was very functional.
