Top Billingsley Creek Wildlife Management Area Hotel Reviews
Amber Inn Motel
10/10 Excellent
"I spent a comfortable night here. It’s a simple place, and no one should expect highly updated facilities; that’s not realistic at this price point. But my room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff helpful upon check-in.
Prospective customers should be aware that the place is a little hard to find after dark. The turnoff to the motel is rather dark and doesn’t feel like a real road. This should not dissuade anyone from staying here. Just be aware that if you arrive in the dark, you might have to circle once or twice before you find your way."
" I am always skeptical about privately owned motels but this one is great.
When we checked in there was no one at the front desk. We rang a bell and the girl that came to check us in had been helping out around the motel. She was very nice and helpful. Not to mention a hard worker. I was impressed.
Our room was not only clean but they have recently renovated the room. It was a very comfortable space with some character. There was more space than a standard motel room. The beds were comfortable. A+ all the way around.
People don’t believe reviews if you don’t mention a negative. The only issues I can nit pick would be I don’t think there is an elevator to the 2nd floor. Not an issue, because I’m sure they would accommodate a lower level room. Only other issue is that the only ice machine is at the check in lobby.
I would stay here again and I would recommend this motel to anyone in my family. You should feel comfortable making a reservation. "
"Our stay was great, we were impressed with staff friendliness and the cleanliness of the rooms as well as the amenities offered. Would definitely stay here if we’re in the area again. "
"This hotel was great. Very clean with a fun pool and friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent, much better than we expected. We will definitely return when passing through. "
"This hotel is big and very clean. We got in at a good time and were able to enjoy the pool. We just spent one night here as part of a road trip, but it was a very comfortable sleep. I would stay again."

"Property was a great fit for a quick weekend getaway for my wife and myself. Conveniently located to local attractions and activities! Quiet and tranquil! Great communication will host. "
"This little lodge was amazing, and the view of the Creek was so peaceful. I did not want to leave. I felt so relaxed, and just the stunning beauty of the property around us was so amazing. I understand some people like to be catered to and if you do, this is not for you. It is not a spa they do not have 24-hour catering services but if you want time alone, to relax and unwind, it is an amazing place. "
