The Agave House in Ocean Springs is the perfect place to experience the beauty of Ocean Springs. Come experience the laid-back atmosphere created by a community of well-preserved historical homes and cottages, only blocks from beaches and a picturesque harbor. Situated within walking distance of downtown, there is no better place to be. Being just steps away from Government St, you have access to culture, entertainment, nightlife, shopping, and restaurants, providing all the right ingredients for a memorable stay. There are so many incredible places within walking distance, so be sure to ask us for recommendations!

Are you here for an art festival or Cruising the Coast? Are you bringing a boat or a trailer? Take advantage of the 31-foot fenced-in part of the driveway, perfect for storing whatever you are pulling.

Want to relax, kick back, and be together as a family? Use the grill for a backyard BBQ and enjoy some fun times with family and friends under the party lights of the gazebo, and roast some s'mores in the firepit. Let your pet run free in the large fenced-in back yard. Or, enjoy the interior of our clean two-bedroom, one-bath home. Watch your favorites on the 43-inch Roku TVs or treat yourself to a relaxing bath in our vintage claw-foot tub.

Spread out in the bigger bedroom, which includes a huge walk-in closet and a large dresser with a mirror- perfect for getting ready for a night out on the town or at the casinos! The bigger bedroom is furnished with one comfortable queen and one double bed. The smaller bedroom is furnished with one double bed to ensure a restful night's sleep.

Take advantage of the microwave, oven, glass top stove, full-size refrigerator with ice-maker, coffee maker, and toaster in making your favorite meals.

Easy access to exercise is available at Freedom Park, located only one block away. Keep healthy during your stay by going for a walk, jog, or run on the modern track with a rubberized surface, work out at the exercise stations, or head a few blocks south and go along the sidewalk path by the beach, or if really ambitious, go over the 3-mile Biloxi bridge on the pedestrian path. If you have a taste for yoga or pilates, check out some of our local studios!

Great location and comfortable stay

Location of Agave house is perfect for our annual stay in OS for the MS Songwriter festival. Convenient access to venues and restaurants and bike rides in the beach. Great fenced yard for the dogs as well.

Cozy and convenient!

Love the location and feel of the neighborhood. Close to amazing restaurants and shopping in Ocean Springs. Will be coming back soon for a girls trip!

Weekend in Ocean Springs

We had a great trip to Ocean Springs. The house is very convenient to downtown and it was nice to be able to walk to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The beach was also a short walk. The house was clean and comfortable, and check in/out was very convenient. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful stay!

Cute house in the historic district with everything you need! Within walking distance to the cool downtown shops and restaurants- or you can rent a golf cart nearby! Just about a 5 minute or so drive to the beach. Pictures are accurate and host is very responsive- easy check in. We appreciated the notebook with all of the local shopping/restaurants nearby. Overall a great stay!

We enjoyed staying at the Agava house. It’s close to all the shops and restaurants. If you have a pet this is the house for you. Fenced in yard allows your pet the freedom to explore without the worry of other pets in the area.

Enjoyed stay

Overall our experience was great it was a last minutes booking we did, I was stressing due to halving 2 dogs. When I came across Justins rental I was very grateful and relieved that its pet friendly! The home was excellent location was great. My kids enjoyed the stay they wished we could have stayed longer the dogs enjoyed the doggy door. We will definitely be booking again with no doubt!

Perfect weekend accomodations

Great little house in fantastic location. Was just what we needed for the Mississippi Songwriters Festival weekend. Older home with some wear and tear, but honestly was like staying with relatives. Overall nice accomodations and check in and check out so easy. LOVED having a fenced yard for our dogs and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay in a charming neighborhood!

Everything was perfect. The owner was communicative, answering any questions almost immediately. Check-in was a breeze and the house was comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. There’s a beautiful backyard and the neighbors were friendly. It’s a quiet neighborhood but only a block to Government St. where we had dinner when we arrived and found a little coffee & donut shop around the corner the next morning. Can’t say enough good things and we’ll be back next time we’re through charming Ocean Springs!

Great Little Spot!

We enjoyed Agave house during our visit to Ocean Springs. Loved that lots of restaurants and shops were easily walkable, even in the 100+ degree heat. The house was no frills, but very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Our pups loved the back yard where they could roam and sniff until their hearts were content.

Great location

This house was perfect for Crusin the Coast! Perfect size for my husband and I. Plenty of room for another couple or children also. 1 block walk to downtown for car show or shopping. Neighbors also very friendly! Great neighborhood and house! I will be booking for next years event as soon as it is available to do so!

The living room furniture was ridiculous! Smelled of pure urine. Never been to vaca rental that did not have a Keruig coffee maker!!!! Needs updates desperately!!! Location is excellent, close to everything. Needs curtains!!!!!!

Ocean springs cottage

Absolutely love the area!! The house is in a perfect location to downtown, very easy walking distance. The house itself was clean and well kept.It did rain when the second day we were there and the back yard flooded, kind of limiting the outdoor space for our dog.could maybe also use new mattress and pillows for the beds?? Maybe a kerig coffee maker...but overall for the price and location can't beat it thanks for having us, we had a great time!!

Perfect Cottage In Ocean Springs

We could not have asked for a better fit. The location, the yard, being pet friendly, the parking,... the list goes on. A September stay in Southern, Mississippi can be brutally hot. Which is why a kicking AC is always key. No problem at this location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Bowen Street.

Nice place to stay

This was our second year staying here. The inside is clean and comfortable. The big bedroom faces the road and could use some curtains or light blocking blinds since the street light shines directly in there at night. The location is good. Quiet neighborhood and a block or two away from downtown so easy walking to grab a coffee, something to eat or a drink. The backyard is fenced in which is nice for the dog. However the outside leaves something to be desired. The pictures shown of the backyard look really nice, but they must be old photos as everything is overgrown now and is in definite need of some TLC. The grass hadn’t been mowed for at least 2 weeks, which was a little disappointing. Overall it is a good property to stay at.

Very Disappointed

First, let me say that the location of this property is great. It’s a very short distance to the main parts of town and all of its attractions. Ocean Springs is a wonderful place. The condition of the property was disappointing to say the least. I have no way of knowing when the pictures on Vrbo were first posted, but they aren’t representative of the current situation. When we first arrived, I knew I had made a mistake. The grass wasn’t mown (too high for our poodle), Agave plant was half dead and the leaves from the live oak tree hadn’t been swept off the front porch. Without going through a detailed description of each item: stove top and oven didn’t work, no shades or curtains in dining area or kitchen, a few spiders, trash in outside bin hadn’t been taken out in weeks, gazebo furniture was broken and worn, couch and rug were smelly, … We cut our stay short.
