-Key card did not work on outside door. -Room is very "spare." -No soap or shampoo; desk clerk said they no longer provide bottles, but gave us a small packet of each. -The bar of soap appeared to have been chewed, perhaps by a mouse; exchanged it for a new bar.. -No available outlets at the desk; had to unplug the TV to plug in my laptop. -The TV blocks access to the working area of the desk and it can't be moved because it's fastened to the desk. (Why not just put it on the wall?) -Wood floor rather than carpet. -Bathroom counter space is less then other hotels we've stayed at recently. -This was the most expensive and least desirable hotel we've stayed at during the past 2 weeks in 7 hotels in 4 states. (The price could be related to end-of-school-year demand at local colleges.) On the plus side, a 6-outlet strip between the beds was plenty for chargers, etc.

Only issue was i asked for a smoking room as it was listed on Expedia. When i got there i was told they no longer have smoking rooms, it was the only reason i chose to stay there.

Had to climb up two flights of stairs with bags and dog. Not a comfortable chair in room. The central back door could not get back in with key fob as door would not open. Had to walk down to another door on corner of building in back.

Check in was fine. The room had hard wood-like floors with no rug, so it was loud. There was no chair for relaxing. Only 2 hard wood desk chairs. The curtain did not cover the window very well. The bed was well worn but still very comfortable. We rolled into the middle.

Definitely clean. People were attentive and friendly. The back door had some issues and I wish they provided information regarding the tv and how to get to what you wanted to watch. Also the vending machines needed to have a bigger variety.
