"This was our second time staying here and it did not disappoint! The house is amazing, and you can't beat the property and location. Gene is a great host, and we've been honored that he has shared his home with us (and others). The family artwork on the walls makes it so much more endearing-you can feel the history and love in this home. It's a special place. Nearby musts: Claws in Rockland, The Causeway/Clark Island, Beech Nut Preserve, Camden State Park, Rockport Harbor, Birch Point. We highly recommend this place!"

"Donna is a wonderful host. She has a comprehensive listing of all nearby activities and restaurants in the home which is most helpful. Her home is very clean, in a convenient location, and very comfortable. The home is very private- you cannot see any neighbors. The kitchen is well equipped. The view of the tidal river is beautiful and calming. I would recommend this house without hesitation!"

"Very nice, clean property in a good location. It is a little hard to tell where this property ends and the neighbors begin! We almost started a fire in the wrong fire pit! (Ha!). The one bathroom with shower is on a different floor than the bedrooms so keep that in mind if you are a large group. There were no wine glasses so hopefully that gets remedied."

"Outstanding cleanliness. I like meticulous cleaning and that was the case here. This should be the case but unfortunately is not always true. Very well appointed & tastefully decorated. I do not think picture of the beach realistically matched beach we saw. Somewhat disappointed in that regard. We went several different places from home and had a great time. Were able to rest well."
