There was plenty to do in the area, and the hosts were kind, professional, and quick to respond to any questions. Check-in and check-out were seamless. "Perfect spot for summer vacation. Beautiful lake at your front steps, and so much to enjoy. The grounds are immaculate- landscaping, sculptures, beautiful flowers everywhere. "

"Just got home from our stay at naughty in the woods wow an amazing spot if you’re into using side-by-side or riding the trails at Houghton Lake. Great location, conveniently located by plenty of bars and restaurants auto parts stores and a Walmart. Only 1.2 miles from the Denton Creek trailhead which is a blast. It offers great trails in great scenery. When we got done, we lit a fire outback, and sat and laughed about all the time we had on the trails. We will definitely be back a great spot!"

"Exceptional stay at this lake front house, in all aspects. Host were very friendly and very detailed email about the house and your welcomed stay. House was very clean and nicely decorated. And fully supplied kitchen with everything you would need from dishes to appliances. Clean property, nice dock, outdoor furniture and gas grill. Short walk out to the sand bar in shallow water. "Great stay! We loved the house on Houghton Lake. Such a beautiful view. Hot tub, swings, and paddle boards were all used. The kids had a great time in the lake. It was very peaceful. We would return and stay here again!"

"Beautiful place!!! Tranquil is Spot-on! We all enjoyed the fire pit, the hot tub and the boys did some fishing. Very clean, spacious and very comfortable for all 11 of us.
