"This rental was impressive and outlived our expectations. We had twelve people and fit them all comfortably in this space. The host was very communicative and responded to questions within ten minutes. The ice machine was top notch! The dream and nightmare are BYOB and the thought of having an ice machine was very impressive. Beautiful location, close enough to town for groceries but far enough away where the beauty of nature is at your door. We will be back."

"Very nice little place. Everything you could think of was provided, from coffee pods to lots of towels. The fenced in back yard was great for the dog - no worries about her getting out."

"The house offered a lot of amenities including black out curtains in every bedroom. The indoor pool was a very nice feature. There are 3 bathrooms which is nice for when you bring as many people as we did to one house. Everything was clean and comfortable. Only issue i had was the front door key pad gave me some fit trying to enter the code to get in but that may have been operator error, never did figure out how to Proficiently use it, I just got lucky after a handful of attempts. Will definitely use this house again for any future st. Helens needs"

"My wife and I enjoyed this cottage. It was clean, inviting, and well appointed. The beds and sofas were comfortable. We liked that the cottage struck a good balance between comfortable and rustic. In that regard, it was one of the nicer cottages we have rented. The location was less than ideal. It is only a short walk from the lake, but there wasn't any seating for us to sit and enjoy the water. With that said, there are two State parts very close to the property, so we were able to take some nice hikes and enjoy Higgins Lake. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thought it was a very good value."

"This really is a cozy, cute place. You can tell a lot of personal love is being put in to it as its still somewhat of a work in progress but it does not keep it from being a great place to stay. The little pool table was a lot of fun and we absolutely loved the hot tub! The temp out side was still quite cool so it was very much enjoyed! We had pretty much everything we needed in the kitchen as well as plenty of bath towels and the beds were cozy enough....we all slept well. Also, Jacob was great with communication. I would definitely stay here again."

"We had a great stay overall! The property itself is beautiful, with gorgeous lake views and plenty of space for our group to spread out and relax. The pool was also a big highlight — really nice and a lot of fun for everyone. Hot tub was also nice with a beautiful pool. A couple things to note for future guests. The listing mentions 6 bedrooms, but the 6th “bedroom” is actually the game room with a twin trundle. It’s fine for kids, but not the most ideal setup for an adult, so just something to be aware of when planning.We also had an issue with the heat one night — it dropped to 62 degrees in the house, which made things pretty uncomfortable (and too cold to enjoy the pool). That said, the host was responsive and sent someone out the same day after we reached out.Overall, we had a really nice time and enjoyed the property — just a few things to keep in mind when booking! We would love to return. "
