A charming collection of historic characterful buildings with great restaurant, fun party barn, spacious apartments and very helpful and welcoming staff. Well worth the tour visit or to use as a base for exploration of the area.

Lovely medieval environment, very friendly staff!

VERY lovely location, very good breakfast, and one of the best sorts of mustard I ever tasted. Food is traditional and very tasty, staff touchingly friendly. We stayed in a medieval apartment. Living and bath downstairs, bedrooms upstairs. Do not expect a luxury suite as this suite is: Medieval. Everything is clean. My daughter was excited and wants to come back as it is so unusual: The wooden floor is: Medieval; therefore you can see the light from below through the slits in the floor. Of course you hear everything in this apartment which is quite fun. Warm water, clean and lovely bathroom and TV set are there, so this part of the luxury is comfortable. You can take part in guided tours for a fee: You'll see a lot of stuff from two centuries ago: Water mill, mustard mill, oil mill. And if you like the meals there: They offer a lot of things for sale (I loved the mustard, as you already know!).

Onberispelijk schoon, vriendelijk en romantisch. Bij aankonst en tijdens het verblijf zijn de medewerkers zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is een romatische accommodatie met veel ambacht. De kamers zijn zeer verzorgd en ook in romantische stijl. Het eten, zowel diner als ontbijt, is zeer smaakvol, vers en veel eigengemaakt. De prijs kwaliteitverhouding is zeer in evenwicht. Om aan te bevelen!!

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt – mit viel Liebe zum Detail Das Doppelzimmer entsprach der Beschreibung: sauber und gemütlich. Wir wurden herzlich willkommen geheißen und haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Besonders begeistert hat uns das Frühstück, frisch, vielfältig und mit lokalen sowie teilweise selbst hergestellten Produkten. Alles war sehr individuell und mit viel Herzblut gestaltet, was dem Aufenthalt eine persönliche Note verlieh. Zudem erhielten wir hilfreiche Informationen zur Umgebung, die unseren Aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet haben. Absolut empfehlenswert - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Super schön und familiär. Im Biergarten oder gehobeneren Restaurant ist für jeden was dabei. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker.

Das Ganze macht einen zwiespältigen Eindruck... Wir hatten ein Zimmer in einem benachbarten, umfunktionierten 2-Familienhaus. Das Ganze hatte den "Charme" der 70/80er Jahre. Das Schlafzimmer war saniert und neu, der kleinere Aufenthaltsraum altbacken wie damals und das Bad auf mittelalterlich gemacht. Etwas zusammengeschustert. Restaurant sehr teuer. Es gibt aber auch eine Art Imbiss. Dort schmeckt es und ist bezahlbar. Frühstück ausreichend. Das schlimmste: das Kopfende des Bettes lag direkt an einer hellhörigen Wand des Nachbar-WCs... von wo man "alles" gehört hat... Wenn wir nicht nur eine Nacht dort übernachtet hätten, hätte ich mich beschwert...

Einmal hat uns gereicht

Grundsätzlich eine nette Unterkunft und erfrischend anders. Allerdings fanden wir es ein Unding das man für das Abendessen, lt. der Servicekraft, keine Möglichkeit für uns sah im Restaurant einen Tisch zu bekommen. Wir wurden dann in den in Schlagweite befindlichen Biergarten abgeschoben. Dort dann von einem völlig demotivierten und mürrischen Mitarbeiter abgefertigt. Sehr unschön!
