Take a dip into the lovely Mediterranean sea before breakfast!
This is a water's edge, spacious, stylishly furnished apartment commanding magnificent views of the historical Malta Grand Harbour. Accommodation consists of a spacious living room (equipped with TV, DVD, stereo and wireless internet connection) and adjoining dining area. Large doors from the living room and dining area open onto the balcony, offering splendid 180 degree views of the Malta Grand Harbour. The open-plan luxury kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances. Sleeping accommodation consists of a master bedroom (double bed) with bathroom en suite, a second bedroom with 2 single beds and a third bedroom with one single bed. The apartment is child-friendly, with various necessities for a baby such as cot, baby changer and baby chair. A car parking space is included in the rental.

Vittoriosa (also known as 'Birgu') forms part of the 'three cities' offering quality restaurants, wine bars, museums and an authentic Maltese environment, all within walking distance of the apartment.

Transportation: If you intend to rent a car, a parking space is available in the garage underlying the apartment.

Alternatively, buses leave regularly from Vittoriosa to Valletta from where buses leave to all over the island. A very pleasant way of reaching Valletta is by water taxi or by Ferry bus, both within walking distance of the apartment.

Super spacious apartment on the waterfront.

Apartment was modern, bright and very spacious with an amazing view across the water. Everything we could have needed was supplied, including, unfortunately, an umbrella! Would need a few more chairs on the balcony if five were staying there. The waterfront restaurants were great and if you want peace and quiet Vittoriosa is the place to stay. It was fun going to Valetta on the gondolas to explore the bustling city and also to get provisions and onward travel. A great short break.

Absolute Gem

Fantastic location for exploring Valletta. Lovely apartment just as described. Lovely touches such as the welcome pack including the best sour dough & basic household supplies.

Great location

I would recommend this property to family and friends. Perfect location with amazing views. The underground car park meant we had no paryworries with our rental car and the entire building was fully secure. Everything you needed was available. Great support and communication from the hosts.

Perfect Location to Explore

Great apartment with amazing views right next to Fort San Angelo. Underground onsite parking was a huge plus. Apartment was clean, bright and inviting. Great for family vacation. Close to the water taxi over to Valetta.

Amazing apartment and hosts

The apartment was amazing with great inclusions. Connie and Francis were wonderful from the inital enquiry to check out. The location is amazing with great parking included, easy access to small boats to take you to Valetta etc. The bus is minutes walk away. We had a great week and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property.

Mother and Daughter Vaca

Connie was very responsive by email and her father Francis explained things when we checked in. Very nice.Francis had some water and food there to get us through our first night. Security staff was always friendly, but we always felt safe in the area of Birgu. The mattresses could be replaced, but that may just be us. I would stay here again. Thanks for sharing your apartment, loved the view.

The Most Wonderful Stay!

After spending two weeks excavating at the Roman Domus, I had the privilege to stay at this wonderful property! The hosts were exceptional, very communicative and thoughtful. They provided grocery staples so I did not have to immediately shop, and everything one needed for a comfortable stay was thought of included swim gear for accessing the swim area outside which was so nice! We loved spending time sitting on the deck and admiring the breathtaking view. We did cook some meals and found everything one needed. We really loved this property!

March in Malta

The apartment location was great. Right beside Fort St. Angelo, a short walk to the water ferry to Valletta. The apartment was well outfitted and Francis was very kind to have stocked the fridge with a few essentials., as we arrived late in the evening. If the weather is warmer you can a dip in the harbour a few feet from the official entrance to the Mansions.

Great Stay in a great apartment

The apartment was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need and exceptionally clean. The hosts were great, very helpful and friendly. The apartment was great - the photos don’t really do it to its credit. Really handy for Valletta (€2 boat across the harbour) and it felt like we had our own pool with the harbour outside the front door (cordoned off for swimmers). There was a parking space and air conditioning throughout - we will definitely have a revisit!

Great apartment! You will not be disappointed!

Apartment was excellent! Great view over the harbour, with a swimming area just a few yards from the front door. All the important things were there - aircon in all bedrooms and living room, wifi was great & shower excellent. Check-in with Francis was comprehensive, even though we arrived very late. And we were extremely pleased to received the Welcome Pack with water, milk, bread, ham cheese etc. This was a great location , much less hectic than Valetta. Highly recommended!

Wonderful apartment with swim area at the front door!

We are from the US, a family of 5 (parents and 3 young adult children), and this was our first time in Malta. We loved this apartment. Francis, the father of the property owner, met us outside on our first day and showed us all around the apartment, introduced us to the security guards, etc. The apartment is just as described, very nicely appointment and has so many extras for kids, the beach, etc. Our favorite thing about this property was the fact that there is a swimming area right out the front door! It is not a touristy area at all, but locals were swimming there night and day. We also went for a dip at the end of most days and it was so refreshing! The location of this apartment is wonderful, the area is so lovely and historic, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Don't worry about driving

This is a fantastic apartment in a really nice area of Malta. Check in was great with Francis meeting our taxi near a restaurant and then taking us to the parking spot for the apartment and then the apartment. This was great because it would have been very difficult to find otherwise but once you know where everything is then it is easy. I won't repeat all the good things said about the apartment as they are all accurate - it really is a lovely place with superb views. The restaurats nearby are excellent and theTuna I had at Cargo was fantastic ( I had it twice). Getting to Valetta is easy on the Dgħajsas which were 3 euro per person and great fun or the ferry (which was easier for by 82 year old mother in law) for 2 euro each. The only mistake we made was not staying longer as we wanted to see the rest of Malta and were worried about parking and driving. Because of this we hired a car and stayed on Gozo for the second part of our trip. While this was very nice Gozo is a bit small. We would have been better staying here and using it as a base to explore Malta. The driving to and from the apartment was easy and the general standard of driving in Malta was fine (we had heard that it was a bit crazy) - we never felt unsafe. There is a dedicated parking spot that was easy to park in and not tight. Overall a fantastic stay.

We loved our stay. The check in was made easy by the hosts father who met us upon arrival. We found the refrigerator stocked with some essentials which was a really nice touch. The apartment was clean and just as described, we enjoyed the balcony, and the views were spectacular. The swimming area in front was clean and refreshing and was enjoyed by locals and residents alike. The location was excellent and was within walking distance to Birgu square (bus stop, restaurants, pharmacy and provisions) waterfront restaurants, museums, forts and Valletta was a short water taxi/ferry away. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

The property was very well located, large and quiet, no passing traffic. The views from the balcony and lounge room really made our stay.Well stocked with crockery, cutlery and glasses. Milk, bread and cheese on arrival was a nice touch.Only suggestion for improvement would be upgrading the linen on the beds.

Water’s Edge is the perfect apartment for a mature family and friends. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood with local Maltese culture. The apartment had all the amenities and comforts of a home with spectacular views of the waterfront. Clean, quiet, and very comfortable home away from home. The best part for us was the private swimming area below the apartment! Highly recommend!

Superb place! Couldn’t be better!

Highly recommend. We looked at many places to stay and chose this one. The apartment was beautiful and spacious. The pictures don’t do it justice. The management was wonderful and they even left us some breakfast and water. The location was fabulous. The views were breathtaking. We loved this place and would recommend it to anyone.
