Second time I have stayed and it is a lovely place for a quiet, comfortable stay with the feel of home as opposed to feeling like a hotel. Fresh cooked breakfast and not far from town for afternoon or evening food options.
We stayed at The ring farmhouse for a wedding, it was a quiet and peaceful location. Carmel looked after us well, particularly at breakfast and even saved the day by lending us an iron. We had a good sized room and ensuite bathroom with the fluffiest towels we've ever had in any bnb. A lovely stay!
A great place to stay and fantastic hosts - comfortable and clean rooms, use of the lounge and conservatory for relaxing or watching TV and a lovely breakfast each morning.
Peace and quiet all around - 100% recommend.
I stayed for 1 night whilst away for work. A really tranquil and pleasant property, and the host was just lovely. The whole place was squeaky clean, the bed super-comfortable and the homemade breakfast was amazing. Will definitely stay again when working in the area.
I was only there for one night and arrived in the evening but everything was just as it should be and tge breakfast was excellent.
Thoroughly recommend .
Carmel & John we’re amazing hosts. They went above and beyond even going as far as dropping us to the wedding we were attending in Birr. They also allowed us to stay later the following day as we were attending a “Day 2” of the wedding
The farm was slightly hard to find but when we did find it we were pleased with what we got. The lady that ran the place was very pleasant and the home baking at breakfast was a pleasant surprise.
