"Amazing as Always "

"Ive stayed there many times over a 26 year period. Its always been very good. Rooms are excellent, spacious, clean, missed the minibar being stocked but thats all. Comfortable beds, heating/air con great, lovely fluffy bath towels, great power shower. Breakfast is truly excellent buffet, English and Continental. Evening meal was part of a package arranged for my friends who were with me, and 2 nights it was frankly inedible. The restaurant relented and let them have the á la carte on the last night, but this is the reason for my 4star rating. Also Breakfast on Wednesday, 3 coach loads of Japanese tourists came in just for breakfast. Ive never seen so many Japanese outside of Japan. For guests, getting even a cup of coffee took 30 mins and forget getting a table. So this was disappointing too. But overall very good value and nice to see restaurant manager Luis still there after 29 years! "

"The staff at the front desk were very pleasant. Our room was recently renovated as were all the rooms I believe. The breakfast was good and included fresh croissants. The parking spots were nice and wide and well lit. Overall we had a great experience and would book there again. "

"In this rather quite city this at first sight somewhat unimpressive set of buildings making up a villa from the 16th century I found a kind of calm that new hotels cannot give you. Charming rooms, a calming courtyard and a garden that feels like a park results in an enjoyable atmosphere. But you will not get services that larger, modern and more luxurious hotels can give, but I did not miss that one second. Likewise, breakfast had all you need, but not more, and was in an cellar built with arches built with bricks that at least looked roman to my untrained eyes. The area was quite in early March, but there were many smaller restaurants nearby, and a large outlet-mall at the outskirts of the city. After a longer vacation travelling around much of northern Portugal I was looking for a place to relax, and here found the perfect place!"

"Tivemos uma estadia absolutamente fantástica nesta casa de férias. A casa é muito boa, espaçosa, confortável e bem cuidada. Destacamos especialmente a piscina, que é excelente – perfeita para relaxar durante o dia e dar uns bons mergulhos..A área exterior superou as expectativas: muito agradável, com zonas de sombra e sol, ideal para refeições ao ar livre, momentos de descanso ou brincadeiras. Todo o espaço exterior está muito bem arranjado e transmite uma sensação de tranquilidade e privacidade.A casa está equipada com tudo o que é necessário – desde utensílios de cozinha a pequenos eletrodomésticos –, o que tornou a estadia ainda mais prática e confortável. Também apreciámos bastante a acessibilidade da casa, com fácil acesso de carro e boa ligação às principais estradas e pontos de interesse da região.Gostaríamos ainda de destacar a simpatia e dedicação do Sr. João, que desde o primeiro contacto se mostrou sempre disponível, atencioso e preocupado em garantir que tudo corria da melhor forma. A sua atenção aos detalhes e prontidão para ajudar fizeram toda a diferença e contribuíram imenso para que a nossa experiência fosse perfeita.Recomendamos vivamente esta casa para quem procura uns dias de descanso com conforto, privacidade e boas condições.
