"Heizung funktionierte nicht, auf die Frage hin sollten wir selbst in den Heizraum gehen und etwas einstellen. Als Antwort wurde noch erwähnt Frau Holm sie sei eine allein Erziehende Mutter von 5 Kindern. Was das mit der Heizung zu tun hat habe ich nicht verstanden. Folgende Mängel sind noch zu beanstanden: Rollos defekt Kamin nicht nutzbar, da der Kamin vom Kaminkehrer gesperrt wurde mir von Frau Holm erklärt Möbel extrem abgenutzt Küchenstühle zerrissen Feuchte Wände"

"Pros: Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Lage ist perfekt; hinter dem Haus ein Bach und der Blick auf die Berge einfach hervorragend. Die Vermieter sind super freundlich. Wir waren mit 8 Personen da und Monika hat an alles gedacht. Auch für diese Personenanzahl waren genügend Betten und Stühle vorhanden. Einzig im Bad wurde es manchmal eng :-) Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und werden das auf jeden Fall auch tun. Cons: Das es nur so kurz war :-("

"Wow! A wonderful stay that exceeded expectations in every way! The owners and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The Alpindestel two bedroom apartment we booked was perfect for our family of five with a beautiful Mountain View from the master bedroom. The room was super clean, newly remodeled, and absolutely perfect. The optional breakfast is a must with tasty samplings from local farms and bakeries. As a bonus the owners spoke excellent English which made things a bit easier for us...

"Cloud One, formally Hyperion, from arrival to departure we were well looked after. Staff positive and friendly throughout the hotel: reception, breakfast, concierge, bar. Modern clean hotel, able to set the temperature in the room and bathroom to different temperatures to suit. Mini bar was well stocked. Even some board games to help pass the time if needed. Buffet breakfast was well stocked and cooked your eggs to order, from breads, meats, fruits and to cooked food. A secure luggage room should you arrive early."

"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Everything was clean and tidy; the staff were very friendly; our room had everything we needed; the shower was particularly good; there was plenty of very nice food at breakfast. We liked very much that the hotel gives a €5 voucher for any day you don’t have your room cleaned. This could then be spent in the bar or restaurant - what a great idea! The hotel is in a good location, handy for trains and many bus lines. Our room overlooked the street which was a bit noisy with the windows open; but once they were shut we couldn’t hear anything. The extra tax that the city charges (currently 50c per person per night) to then provide a Guest Mobility ticket was fabulous. We got the train to Werfen and Zell am See; the bus to Bad Ischl and Hellbrunn Palace; and various buses and trams round the city and it cost us nothing at all with our Guest Mobility ticket. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone planning to visit Salzburg."

"Rooms were fairly spartan but clean. Lack of AC isn’t untypical but something for American travelers to remember as it was a bit stuffy. Location was outstanding. Unexpected bonus was the quaint restaurant with outdoor patio and the live German folk band concert that night. Enjoyed our time tremendously!"

"Absolutely lovely room in an extremely walkable location. Beware that there are some people who may be experiencing homelessness around the church across the street in the evening hours. The check in process proved to be a bit difficult as I had paid, but the system wasn’t showing that I had paid so I had to go speak with a staff member. I didn’t love that the staff members are all on the fourth floor instead of welcoming you in the lobby, but as long as you know where to find them, it isn’t too inconvenient. Overall we really enjoyed the room and our stay in Salzburg."
