Nice, clean hotel with a very friendly, accomodating staff. Because of an airport error my luggage did not arrive but the hotel staff came in clutch with daily water bottles as well as disposable razors and shaving cream every day. Great breakfast buffet with a large variety as well. 5 stars

Fabulous staff spectacular hotel

Amazing experience! I made a mistake with the booking and the staff at reception corrected it without any issue. All staff (from beautifully dressed welcoming ladies to staff at IWA restaurant and reception/swimming pool etc) are remarkably friendly and professional.

Great hotel.

Everything about this stay was exceptional from the service to the cleanliness of the room, to courteous service. My only issue was my flight arrived early in the morning so I arrived at the hotel at 7am long before my 2pm check in so I waited 5 hours in the lobby to check in because they said they did not have any available rooms yet.

Good but service a bit slow

The bathroom flooded because the drain was clogged—it took two calls to finally get someone up to fix it. We initially asked for a new room as we were trying to get ready to go to dinner. We didn’t get a new room until after the drain was unclogged (but the bathroom was still a mess) and my husband took a sipping wet towel downstairs for the staff to understand how big the problem was. Once we were given a new room things improved.

Horrible management and staff, I’ve been around the world a few times - and I believe this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in: Problems with bills, rudeness, property seems still under construction. I tried to provide constructive feedback; and the management was si condescending and just ignored me and treated me even worse. Please AVOID this hotel, lit is not worth the money - I am very sorry to say.

Suprisingly average

When you book a hotel like Sheraton, you expect top of the line everything. But Sheraton Bishkek was not that. It wasn't bad or horrible, it just wasn't great. It feels like the hotel is housed in a voiet era apartment building, which means that the elevators are too few and too small. This is compounded by the fact that the lobby is one floor up from the entrance and there are no stairs. The room was ok, except the curtains couldn't be closed (physically - the guiding rails were too short), there was a hole in the carpet and the AC made a lot of noise. The breakfast was lackluster, but ok (except the coffee). The biggest disappointment was that the guy at the check-in desk tried to con my out of 100 USD. I asked about a tour of the city and he suggested a good tour. He could find a driver and he would be my guide himself. Sounds good? Well, he asked 220 USD but the exact same tour was available online from 99 USD. For me as a single traveller, it ended up being 120 USD. The only really good thing about Sheraton Bishkek was the location and the guy at the door. He was very friendly and helpful. All in all not really worth the money.
