"We really enjoyed staying at The Monte Vista during the Sourwood Festival. It was great to walk to town to eat and attend the festival. The hotel is old but very charming. It has a lot of stairs and no TV in some rooms, so be sure to book a room accordingly."

The drive up rocky driveway with some ruts was like an added theme ride, but do-able. The cabin itself is very roomy and for our short stay was very nice. "

"Wonderful house with 5 master bedrooms plus extra beds. Very close to Black Mountain and Montreat. Clean with lots of patio space with chairs and sitting areas. Would stay there again. "

"This house was a perfect size for our family. The kids could watch tv in the back room, I could sit and read in the front room, the pool was huge, although the weather wasn't conducive for swimming, the fire pit in the front was a great spot for sipping wine and creating s'mores. A couple of the appliances needed maintenance but, hey, that happens. The house was well-appointed and we had a great time there. "

"Very convenient to all of our wants for our stay in Black Mountain. Brenda is a great hostess, so helpful when we needed assistance for my husband. She went beyond what was required, and we appreciate it so much. The cottage is so cute - as my daughter said - Adorable! Wi-Fi worked perfectly. television is good as well.
