Les Petit Maison Walkable to Downtown Black Mtn

"Les Petit Maison on Vance" translates to "the little house," but it is BIG on charm! Recently renovated and ready for you to fall in love! Less than 1 mile from Downtown Black Mountain, walk to locally owned restaurants, quaint shops, and fun, laidback breweries. Enjoy front porch swinging in the morning with a cup of coffee or relaxing in the hammock after a day of hiking and exploring. No fire pit is complete without s'mores, so look forward to making yourself at home at Les Petit Maison!

We have two comfy bedrooms, the primary has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with two sinks - please note the 2nd sink is the process of repairs and is not working at this time. The second bedroom has a Queen bed. There is second bathroom with a shower. Our third bed is a Murphy bed in the living room. The Kitchen has everything you need for cooking and we have a propane grill on the back porch for you to use as well.

Please Note: The driveway is a shared driveway with the neighboring house. If you need to park on the side of the road, you may do so but please do not park on the sidewalk.

Great getaway

The accommodation for this house was awesome. Everything we needed from a beautiful view of the mountains on the front porch to a back porch that we could grill out with family. Very clean and well organized. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

We really enjoyed our stay here, pricing and accommodations were right what we were looking for and we didn't have to drive anywhere in black mountain as it's just a short walk to anywhere downtown. Clean, Comfortable and close to everything. We will be staying here again next year!

Beautiful Black Mountain

3 golfing gals stayed here and enjoyed Crooked Creek Golf course and Marion Lake Country Club. We loved the house and the colors of fall were spectacular.

Within walking distance to downtown!

Our party of 5 enjoyed this beautiful home in Black Mtn. Every amenity was provided and check-in/check-out was seamless. Situated in an older area of Black Mtn within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and all the quaint shops in town. Don’t be put off by the “locals only” type neighborhood, we had no issues with any of the neighbors. Great stay!

We enjoyed our week of relaxation and seeing new sites in Black Mountain. Cottage was adorable and just a few blocks from downtown. Very convenient. The bed was very comfy which is a big deal to us!! The restaurants are just amazing!!

The place was walking distance to cute town… restaurants, bars and shops and golfing, hiking and lake! House had nice finishes. The owner made the most out of the “petite” space.

Great weekend in Black Mountain

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Maison! The proximity of this property to the heart of downtown Blk Mtn was a highlight. We walked everywhere! The house is very clean and charming, exactly as pictured in the listing photos. The beds were also very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

Cozy, warm home with awesome decor. Close to fantastic restaurants and easy access to I 40. Need to change those interior shower curtains (mold). Other than that we’ll be back!

A fun 3 day getaway in Black Mountain NC

We enjoyed our stay at Les Petit Maison on Vance. The home was convenient to the shops and restaurants in Black Mountain, nicely furnished, and well equipped. We would recommend it to couples looking to visit the area but not wanting the hustle-bustle of Asheville. It would also be convenient for families up to six and the kiddies would enjoy the large fenced in back yard. It's a lovely little home.

Super cute retreat walking distance from shops

My husband, 7yo son and I had a great time during our stay in BM at this sweet little house. We were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants easily and the house itself was just as shown in the photos - clean, cozy, and well-appointed. As others have mentioned, the surrounding properties were not as well-kept, which was a little off-putting at first. But we never had any security issues and the location mostly made up for that. It was a lovely place to stay for a small family or couple looking to be close to town.

Where to start… Great communication with property managers, they made everything easy. Cute home. It’s definitely petite but had everything we needed. Kids loved playing in front yard. (Back yard is huge by the way). Neighbors were friendly. Easy walk to town. We come to BM just about every year, and this was perfect for our short stay.

Great Getaway

Perfect place in Black Mountain. Walking distance to downtown Black Mountain dining and shopping. Stayed in, cooked burgers on the grill and roasted marshmallows. Quiet enough in the morning to hear plenty of bird songs. I have an EV vehicle and this property was easy walking distance to 3 free EV chargers in Black Mountain. The kitchen was well equipped and meals were easy to prepare. The host provides clear information and timely communication.
