Great Host & beautiful property

My husband & I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The house & property were beautiful & very private. The hosts were great. We would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice get away for a couple or a small family get together. Location is close to down town Black Mtn & Asheville.

Enchanted Forest Creekside Cabin - Black Mountain

My husband, our dog and I spent a week in this wonderful, well appointed home located on picturesque property surrounded by massive Rhododendrons and moss & lichen-covered old hardwoods. There is a small, shallow creek in the backyard great for splashing around in the cool water. The hot tub was so relaxing. We had the best time staying cool in the middle of August. 20 minutes from Black Mountain or Old Fort (great brewery), 30 minutes from Asheville. We also went to Catawba Falls. So much to do in every direction or just hang out at home. The owners were great. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely place, peace and quiet

It's rare that a house is prettier than its photographs, but Jason and Andrea's place is really beautiful, full of hand-built touches. It is also really comfortable! The kitchen is really well-equipped, the outdoor firepits and barbecue make for great cooking, and the house itself is just spotless, with plenty of furnished nooks and places to read or just sit and commune with the trees. Despite the quietly isolated location, internet is good. Jason and Andrea respond instantly to any questions, and their online guide is really helpful. Highly recommended.

Best Cabin ever !

Foxie Moxie is a truly rare gem! We have stayed in the area multiple times but never had such a wonderful experience. The cabin is beautiful, immaculate, incredibly comfortable, and the location cannot be beat. You feel secluded but not too far into the mountains where it feels like a chore to get there. All three bedrooms are gorgeous and have extremely comfortable beds. As far as the amenities, everything exceeded our expectations. And if all of this is not enough, the owners' responsiveness and kindess is like nothing we've ever encountered. You will not be disappointed in anything about this property. It is a truly special spot and we will definitely be back!

Welcome Getaway

We stayed 4 nights, hiked, and visited Asheville and Black Mountain. Appreciated the time to unwind in the rocking chairs on the deck, to work on a puzzle together, play cards, and hot tub. Beautiful spot.

Loved staying at Foxie Moxie! The hosts were responsive from the first time I reached out until the day we checked out. Timely and helpful communication? Check! Finding and getting into the place? Check! Interior was immaculate. Kitchen well stocked. Hot tub under the stars was magical! Beds were cozy and comfortable. We felt secluded but not isolated - and the carpet of daffodils? Lovely. Best cabin ever!

Absolutely loved this cabin! Very artistic vibes all over the property. Hot tub was clean, and quite wonderul under the stars. The pics they provide are exactly what the cabin looks like, so there are no surpises there. The beds were insanely comfy. All the appliance were newish and in perfect working condition. They provided plenty of toilet paper, dish soap and detergent, etc. Bathrooms were very nice. Internet worked. Very peaceful. There is a neighbor that is somewhat close, but you definitely feel like you have plenty of privacy. Isolated, but you dont feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Would stay here again for sure. 5 out of 5 stars!
