Private Upper Room w/large soaking tub/shower with view of 7 Sisters Mountains!

OPEN 4/4-4/7 due to canc. Cozy upper room, separate entrance from residence. Very private. Queen bed, retro mini fridge and microwave, Mr. Coffee with coffee provided, cedar closet with luggage racks, and extra storage space. Deck with view of the 7 Sisters mountain range, great for soaking up rays or star gazing. Wi-fi, Smart TV with movie channels. Spacious bath with freestanding soaking tub and separate shower. We do have A/C. Walk to downtown Black Mountain where you will find quaint mountain shops, great restaurants, breweries and more. 15 minutes to Asheville. We are dog friendly with full fencing.. Pet fee of $30. Due to open fire restrictions firepit not available currently.

Cozy it is

Our stay at the Cozy Upper Room was great just as we expected. We stayed here before and will do so again. Mary is a great hostess, the room has everything you need, it is clean and comfortable . Feels very private and a great location. Easy walk to downtown Black Mountain.

We had an amazing stay! Mary was incredibly thoughtful and kind. The room was perfect, just as described, and the balcony view was breathtaking! The fenced area was a dream for our dog. The town itself is fantastic, with tons of cool things to do and great breweries. We highly recommend this place and can't wait to return and visit Mary, Ottie and Taz again. - thanks for making our trip unforgettable!

The hosts Mary and Will and amazing. The space is comfortable, private, clean, and close to everything. Dog friendly as well which is perfect for us. Best place to stay in Black Mountain hands down!

Short stay

Very comfortable, great location, very responsive host. There was a wide ranging power outage for just a few hours and host made sure we had flashlights and an electric lantern. Excellent. We’re going back.

Just what I was needing for a few nights traveling by myself. I was a bit hesitant before booking since it's attached to someone's house, but such positive reviews, I booked it. I'm glad I did. Mary was a wonderful host. Stairs up to your own entrance and balcony facing the mountains. Cute and charming inside with a spacious bathroom. Thank you, Mary for opening your home to people like me to enjoy.

Cozy and Close to Town

The private upper room was perfect for our needs. Black Mountain was in the twenties, but our room was warm and cozy. Downtown is a minute away by car, or close enough to walk if you're into that sort of thing. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely Getaway!

Thanks so much to Mary for the perfect getaway spot! All the little touches were wonderful and I was extra grateful for my dog Buddy to get some play time with Taz and Ottie! Being in walking distance to downtown was wonderful and the room was clean and comfy.

Always a great stay!

Perfect location within walking distance to all the fun things to do in Black Mountain. The room has everything you need and the shower and huge bathtub are absolutely amazing! Mary adds a little something to make you feel like an appreciated guest. This time it was Christmas cookies.
