"I thought this place was great generally. Perfect location spacious room. It was right by the train though and it was loud. They were also loading or unloading storage containers in the back and I heard them in the morning but not to early thankfully. Bed was very comfortable. There could have been more parking. "

"Ethan Allen is a respected name in the Danbury area. As soon as you walk into the hotel lobby you can feel the "glamour". But that is as far as it goes. Don't get me wrong the hotel is okay, but it isn't what you expect by what you see when you walk in. The rooms are outdated. I was in a room that had stains in the carpet, walls, mold in the mini fridge, low water pressure in the shower head, and a broken faucet. It was clean, but because of these issues during my stay I got the feeling the it wasn't completely cleaned if you know what I mean. "

"I was there in between larger events, and they were very few people. Previously, I’ve been there while they were weddings going on, and it was very busy. It was fun both times. I think they’re still trying to figure out what they really want to do with this hotel, they’ve only owned it for about a year. Next to no food on site, but it’s easy to get deliveries from nearby restaurants, or just to run out if you please. Looking forward to my next day there."

"Overall our stay was ok. The room needs to be cleaned better. The curtains were stained like they were water damaged, but we were on an upper floor. The bed skirt was soiled with I don’t know what and the TV was old. No streaming networks to watch if you wanted to. Getting out of the hotel parking lot, the road had very bad potholes which should be fixed. Breakfast was ok. Staff was always friendly and helpful."
