"Fair Isle Motel was very clean, staff was very pleasant and a nice view of the lake. We could park our car right at our motel room. A convenient and clean place to stay for the night after a day on the Cabot Trail, and before heading to PEI."

"The property was lovely. There were a few too many spider webs and spiders inside for my liking and the bed was too mushy, but the kitchen was great and well stocked. I also appreciated that they had used unscented laundry detergent and had it available for guests to use as well. There was a smell of paint, as well as painter's tape around a closet, but the smell dissipated quickly after we opened the windows. Lovely views over Lake Ainslie. Overall, a good stay."

"This is a very comfortable, well equipped house with easy access to all parts of Cape Breton. We arrived during a power outage and Mary and Stewart made every effort to help us until the lights came back on. Highly recommended."
