"The staff was friendly and helpful. The property was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately the pool is permanently closed. If I knew this beforehand I would have booked another hotel. I reviewed the listing and it does not mention a pool so that's on me. The AC in the room worked well as I like it cold at night. The comforter is very warm, warmer than most I've used before. The room was clean, however I did find a dead cockroach on the floor when I woke up on my last morning. Overall, the stay was nice and quiet. The price was good and the hotel was nice. I would stay here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice compared to others I have stayed at in this area."

"The staff was amazing. The room was beautiful and clean and the view was outstanding. Every person we spoke to that worked there was helpful and kind. Food in the restaurant was amazing and the bar was too notch. Will be back for sure!!"

"All of the staff were extremely polite and helpful! We stayed one night and everything was great! We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant and everything was excellent. I loved the convince of the restaurant in the hotel. Everything was cooked to perfection and the waiter from dinner and the waitress from breakfast were so polite and pleasant. Even the chef spoke to us and cook everything to perfection! The check in staff were very helpful and could tell they enjoyed their jobs and being together. The whole experience was great!"

"Very nice hotel with awesome rooms however, there is a shortage of housekeepers and rooms aren't ready at 3:00 PM check in the two times I've stayed there. I was issue a room digital key at 2:00 PM for requested 1st floor room that was not ready at the time. When I returned back to the hotel at 4:30 PM my room still wasn't ready. concierge was very polite and found me a room on the 2nd floor. Would I stay in The Oats again sure I would."

"Cons: Room smelled old and like a musty dog had been in there before us. Smell went away after we were in there for a day. Carpet had a big stain that was just covered with carpet powder and partially vacuumed up. It wasn’t terrible but not the Hampton Quality in my opinion. Pros: breakfast and staff were awesome. Never ran out of anything and always stocked up. Great job breakfast crew! Also right next to a CVS that stayed open late in case you forgot something."
