Steps to VT Campus & Cassell Cozy Blacksburg Studio

Newly Renovated Blacksburg Getaway - perfect for a campus or family visit in the area, or a home base for a hiking weekend! Spacious studio apt w/ private entrance within walking distance of downtown Blacksburg and Virginia Tech. A+ location in Miller Addition, one of the premiere neighborhoods in the New River Valley that is minutes to restaurants and shopping. Includes large studio living and bedroom space, desk nook, full bath, housewares , wifi+ and Roku TV that connects to streaming.

We offer a studio apartment that is on the ground floor of our main house. We have soundproofed the ceiling, however you might hear the pitter patter of our little kids sometimes upstairs. We are 3 blocks from downtown Blacksburg and the Huckleberry trail is one block from us. Walk to Lane Stadium in about 5 minutes and to Cassell in about 7. For those traveling with a small child - we can have a pack and play available upon request.

The thermostat for the basement is not in the studio apt. however we will give you access to the thermostat through the Nest app to adjust the temperature.

Cute stay very close to downtown

My husband and I loved staying here for a night to go to a VT basketball game. It was cozy, well-appointed, and just a quick walk downtown to local restaurants and bars. Will recommend this to friends traveling to Blacksburg!

Quaint Blacksburg Getaway

Very nice decor, great location, very cool place to stay Do hear some walking upstairs but we only heard this one morning of our stay and it wasnt a problem There isnt a thermostat in the room makes it difficult to control the heat in the room but it was quite comfortable without turning the heat on (switch in the bathroom) They provided a very nice fan and a noise machine which was very appreciated. Slightly high price for Blacksburg but certainly nicer than a hotel room

Great for a quick overnight stay

Convenient to fast food and cozy size. I'm not sure if we missed it, or if there is no thermostat to control heat. :( Plenty of hot water, bed felt good for sleeping. Glad I could find a place like this while traveling to avoid unnecessary COVID exposure.

Historical studio in a great location

Perfect studio for our week long stay visiting family for the holidays. The place was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The location was also very convenient as we could walk to various coffee shops and restaurants in just a few minutes. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect studio

This place was perfect for our weekend trip to Blacksburg! It is just as cute as the pictures and there were wonderful touches that made the stay even better. I would definitely stay again.
