"I’m not 100% certain how clean our sheets were. It looked like there was dirt on the pillow cases on 2 of the four and the bedspread had dirt smudges on them as well. The high ceilings made the room feel very large."

"Super clean, astonishingly well-appointed, and trimmed to the hilt with detail that I found delightful. Everything I could need was abundantly provided. Some might find the decor a tad dated, but I loved the wood-paneling, stained glass, quality fixtures, solid wood doors and lofty ceilings. A true retro ski-lodge vibe! I was blown away at every turn by the quality and exquisite maintenance of the property. The location was incredibly ideal. There were so many extras for guests to discover (the hot tub and saunas were fantastic!). The staff was very accommodating, but take care when booking to reach out ahead of time and set up your arrival plans when booking through Expedia. This property has won multiple awards from its organization, and they are very well-deserved. The best value possible in Steamboat! Would stay here again and again."

"Mark and Laura, the host and hostess of the beautiful mountain retreat we lived in for nearly two months , were so cordial and focused on our stay being peaceful and not having to be concerned with anything . They were very quick to respond to any issue or question we might have about anything. They are both very kind people and so easy to communicate with . The mountain retreat we stayed in could not have been more beautiful inside and out. Mark has hand built and decorated the most beautiful mountain retreat. Every room has a unique style, and it includes an incredible bathroom with a very large jet tub, raindrop shower head, and water that comes from the ceiling ! Outside is a wrap around deck on top of the world, or at least Yampa Valley , with fresh air and majestic views that are breathtaking and hard to even describe in words . It is a beautiful and unique property you will not find anywhere else , and the hosts are also so unique in their care for the home and guests staying in it . It is a peaceful, Beautiful, Blessed mountain stay that is rare to find and will not be forgotten as you make memories there!"

"We loved our stay here! Perfect location for our family, with the tennis/pickle ball, mountain and trail in mind. We loved the upper floor apartment as well. Gave great separation between our own family and extended. We'd love to stay here again."

"Overall positive experience and decent space. Kitchen is semi-equipped. Grateful they allow dogs and even have a little set of elevated bowls. Trail right out of the parking lot was lovely. We struggled to get a response about arriving an hour early, but it’s helpful that you can communicate with them over text and they were kind enough to let us check out an hour late."
