Holiday Inn Express Hastings by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Very clean like new hotel. Nice bedding and good pillows. It matters!! There were plenty of breakfast options. Good fresh coffee. I loved the KoolAid dispenser! Nice touch. Helpful friendly staff at the front desk. We would stay here again."

8/10 Good

"One overnight stay. Clean and quiet, located ABOVE the Wagon Wheel Pub and no one else was seen due to the hotel bar was not open during my stay. I communicated with a manager via text, # found on a sign on the door since the outer door to the stairwell to access the rooms was locked. There was elevator access from lower level and new and convenient, but I didn't know about it except for asking a waitress in the pub below how to access the rooms above. Very clean and modern bathroom, only difficulty was the fact that this room did not have a shower door installed, so the spray would go over the threshold and left a small puddle. I left my used towel on it to prevent future water damage. I recommend that shower doors be installed in all rooms. Lighting controls were modern, so tricky for me to get it set low enough to watch the TV. Bed was good for me, but hotel is close to railroad track crossing and train horns are loud enough to wake me, I guess I would need to be used to train horns. Overall, it was a good overnight stay but would have been much better if the bar was open."

Hastings Inn

8/10 Good

"We were short a set of towels, but the room was clean, bed was comfortable and the heat worked well. It's on a busy road, but very quiet. The property has maintenance issues, needs paint on the doors and walls in places, and a couple of the outlets didn't have covers, but overall, it's obvious that many repairs have been made. Will go back."

Newly remodeled, Cozy Cottage on an Acreage

8/10 Good

"The property was nice and clean on the inside but definitely not on the porch and the little seating area outside. Also very poor lighting in one if the bedrooms... No lamp to read by in bed. Could also use a new coffee pot. It took 50 minutes to brew a pot. We did enjoy how quiet it was and close to things in town. Would we book it again? No."
