Family & Pet Friendly Retreat in Blairsden-Graeagle

Look no further! Eagle's Nest has it all. Conveniently located within a 1 minute drive to Plumas Pines Golf Course and only a 3 minute drive to town, our home is nestled on almost a half acre of land just large enough for the kids to explore and make memories with.

There is a host of activities to do in the immediate surrounding area like golfing, dining, hiking, fishing, kayaking, sightseeing, horseback riding etc. A little further of a drive (about 40 minutes) and you can check out the hot springs in Sierraville (enjoying the beautiful scenic drive along the way!) An even further drive (1-2 hours) and you can visit Reno, or Lake Tahoe for the day.

Eagle's Nest is beautifully furnished to make you feel comfortable in your home away from home so you feel relaxed when you get home after a day of golfing or exploring. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, all towels/linens, and a smart tv with DVD player and over 100 DVD titles to choose from, along with complimentary Netflix login.

The fun doesn't stop when you come back to your vacation rental. We like to make the home a retreat in itself with plenty of things to do to prevent boredom. We are happy to say that we have plenty of board games and DVD's to choose from along with a disc golf basket, cornhole, horseshoe pit, Hammock, Ping Pong Table, Lounge Chairs, and dart board located on the property. We are constantly adding more fun, so remember to always check back with us for future vacations to see what's been added!

Bedroom Setup: 2 Twins in smallest guestroom, 2 Queens in 2nd Guestroom and 1 Queen in Master Bedroom. Each bedroom has a plug-in fan in case you need to keep cool in the summer, there is no AC in the house. 2 of the the bedrooms and living room are also equipped with Electric heaters for the winter months in addition to the main house heater.

Want to bring along your dogs? You are welcome to, we have a large fenced in portion of the yard for you to let the doggies roam without fear of running off. We do ask that you do not leave your dogs outside unattended or leave them unattended inside for long periods of time during the day. Please also make sure to clean up after them.

Lovely home with great amenities

Great place to stay for a family, the house included many amenities for the price. The ad was exactly as described. It was clean and had everything you needed for a weekend getaway with your family. I'm a big nba fan and the basketball hoop in the driveway was a great way to spend time with family. Thanks again!

Christmas in the Lost Sierras

Great stay again with Carrie. Very good location for visiting family and taking nearby hikes with my dogs. The yard is very secure and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. No snow this year but we got some good hikes and walks in. Thanks again. HG

Enjoyed Immensely!

Lovely neighborhood, house had pretty much everything for our needs, comfy beds, fabulous, fenced back yard for the dogs, close proximity to town with golf down the street. Had a wonderful, wonderful time. Area is magical. tempted not to say any of this as I want it to stay this idyllic and not be overrun by the hordes. Planning on spending as many summers in the future here as possible.

Nice spot for a couple day getaway

This spot is quiet and comforting. If you’re looking for a basic spot that has tailored amenities for children this is a good spot. We have a 2.5 year old and she loved it. A little disappointed by the backyard weed growth since we were unable to use the backyard at all, again having a toddler who loves running around this was a let down, I don’t know if you visit earlier in the season it would be better. WiFi was ok to bad but that’s to be expected from this area in the Forrest. Overall we were satisfied with our stay, the host is super responsive and friendly so that made up for anything negative we experienced.

We were there with family for our grandson's wedding, so needed accommodations for an unknown number. Nice place. Plenty of sleeping areas/beds. Fully stocked kitchen which we didn't use other than making coffee. Pot died 3rd day in. Luckily this woman thinks ahead and had another pot in the cupboards! Plenty of pillows & blankets. Our only "complaint" and not really that, there is a large tree in the middle of the driveway. Made parking interesting. All in all, a wonderful place to have to come home to after hectic days! Fully recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Best Thanksgiving Ever!

This property is absolutely perfect for a getaway in this beautiful area. It is one of our favorites. It was nice and clean, the fridge was huge! The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. The host responded quickly to questions. Wifi worked great. We spent thanksgiving here, and even though I packed some things from my kitchen, we would've had everything we needed as this kitchen is stocked perfectly. We love this area and always come up whenever we can. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, and so did my family. We had our small dog with us because she's easy and just sleeps most of the time, but may bring the bigger ones up next time too. We'd love to come back when it's warmer out to enjoy the fun garage games, and the deck and back yard. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Perfect getaway

We absolutely love the Graegle-Blairsden area and try to take trips as often as possible. The house was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. Our dogs had a wonderful time and the weather was perfect. We would absolutely book again!

The location was perfect for our weekend full of disc golfing and hiking. We did not see the zero gravity chairs and hammock from the pictures. Instead, we spent our time enjoying the many games (horseshoes, darts, ping pong, and board games). The kitchen was fully stocked. The living room was comfortable for our Shrek marathon.
