The motel was particularly loud during our stay because our room was under the stairwell. When we realized this was going to be a problem we asked for a different room.
But unfortunately management denied our request because the bedspread had been turned down and housekeeping wasn’t available to fix it. Also they said the motel was completely booked and there were no other rooms. I’ve added a photo of the parking lot taken at 8:49 pm of this crowded motel. Keep in mind I checked in around 4 pm and it was even more vacant.
We’ve stayed at this motel many times and was pleased to see it’s been renovated. But the bathroom door didn’t close without slamming it and there’s no toilet paper holder on the wall, which I thought was awkward.
Also, the room had four coffee cups, but no coffee maker, and no bath mat, just a towel. It didn’t feel like a $100 per night motel.
This is one of the few motels in town and they don’t have to put a lot of effort into customer service. That combined with the subpar breakfast resulted in an unpleasant stay this time.
