The Leslie is wonderful. I stay here every time I am in Blantyre. It’s clean, charming, the restaurant is terrific, and the staff—Diana, Miriam, Victoria, Veronica, William, et Al, are wonderful.

Apparently the property has recently changed ownership, but this was not apparent in any way. Everyone was very welcoming, the food was excellent, the room spacious and tidy. The gardens offer a good place to sit and relax, and were in good condition given that it was towards the end of the dry season. I recommend the Leslie and would stay there again.

The real asset of the Leslie is the staff, always friendly and helpful. I had an issue about payment and the owner came to help me out on Saturday. But please note, non-Malawians may not currently pay hotel accommodation in Malawi using Kwachas.
