This hotel was gorgeous! It was a little spendy but worth it for us since we had a very long day of traveling and sightseeing in the wind and rain without a bed for 36 hours. We took in happy hour before enjoying some time in the beautiful lobby. The breakfast was incredible! I would recommend being the first one there to see the beautiful display, the quietness of the dining space and the unbelievable views of the steam from the geysirs. The whole experience was worth every minute of our short time there.

Best hotel i had stayed in Iceland. My wife and i had a wonderful time, wish we had arrived earlier to enjoy the amenities around the hotel. We enjoyed a fine dinning at the hotel restaurant too. Love this hotel. I told the receptionist we will be back. She told us there will be a spa soon. Hopefully i get to enjoy the spa at our next visit.

Food at the restaurant here was delicious! Hotel was so nice and clean looking, beds were comfy, and super close to golden circle activities. Plus they have NL wake up call. Only issue was there was bugs (inside) near the window which was off-putting.

The hotel is beautiful with excellent public areas and a fantastic location. Room was reasonable but not as upscale as expected. We arrived about 90 minutes before the official check in time, and even though the hotel was empty, they insisted on charging a fairly hefty early check in fee. Seemed really cheap and lacking in hospitality on their part. We decided to cancel our hotel dinner reservation and go somewhere else, so I’m not sure how that benefited them.

The accommodations were perfect. After a day of traveling and we had the most restful sleep. The bed is plush and comfy. The staff was welcoming. The breakfast was delish! The geysers are just across the road and so easy to access from the hotel. We would stay here again!

The property is gorgeous; beautifully decorated for the holidays. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bedding was so comfortable and it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud!

A beautiful hotel that has a lovely aesthetic. The food was delicious too. The beds are very comfortable. I had the deluxe and really loved soaking in the big tub. I am tall so it was nice to fit in the whole way.

Our favorite hotel in Iceland. It is conveniently located across the street from the Geysir center, also near Gullfoss and a great place to go on excursions. Restaurant is awesome ! Design and decor is impeccable.

This is a beautiful hotel with great rooms and lovely bar and restaurant. Like many hotels in Iceland if you are an independent traveller be prepared for the chaos at breakfast caused by large tour groups, as they appear en masse and you will find queues for food and drink at the buffet. Hotel is right opposite the Geysir so it’s easy to wander over to the site when the crowds have all left.

Opposite to the Geysir attraction, this was a good stopover during our Golden Circle drive. Rooms were large and clean, with nice decor. The restaurant can get crowded during meal times but it is large enough so that one does not feel claustrophobic. Food from the restaurant was great!

Beautiful hotel
This hotel was SO much more beautiful than we expected. One of the largest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The bed was like a big, fluffy cloud, there was a beautiful bathtub -- could not have asked for more. Felt very luxury.

Amazing hotel next to the geysir! We had a suite which was just lovely- so much space & very comfortable. The breakfast is ok not a lot of options if you’re vegan but seems pretty typical in Iceland.

This was a one stop in the middle of an 8 day trip. Hotel was gorgeous. Staff was wonderful. Food/drinks were so good! Right across the street from the geysers! Would highly recommend. Wish we stayed longer!

We stayed at 3 hotels during our 1 week stay in Iceland and Hotel Geysir was the best one ✨ the property is beautiful and clean. Only annoying thing is the shower water runs all over the bathroom floor. Right across from the Geysir Center. There are amazing trails around too! Would definitely stay again.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything was lovely. We could see strokkur rising from our rooms. Amazing dinner and best wine I’ve ever had in my life. I would recommend this place to everyone. It’s a must stay in Iceland.

This hotel was architecturally stunning! The rooms were comfortable (beds and shower = amazing), drinks and food were yummy, and the staff was so friendly. I highly recommend this place!!!!

Great location, fairly new and modern hotel. Buffet breakfast was good. Really lovely place to stay.
