"Loved staying at the IKEA Hotel before visiting the IKEA Museum. The hotel is actually fairly bare bones with rooms being small to encourage you to mingle with other guests and explore. Everything is clean and pristine and I loved how many places there were to sit. "The room we were supposed to stay in was great with a beautiful view. Easy access to the beach. There is no front desk so checking in was confusing. The hotel lost our reservation, so we spent most of our time there waiting to hear where they were going to move us each day. Ended up paying the same price for much lower accommodations. No apology. A wonderful place to stay in town
"A lovely hotel in the middle of Kristianstad opposite the amazing park. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with toiletries (a rarity in hotels these days) and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. Breakfast is included at the weekend and it’s got everything from eggs, bacon, Swedish meatballs to cheese/cold meats to healthy options such as chia pudding/overnight oats and nuts and seeds. But the best thing is the staff, especially the delightful Sarah on the front desk who helped us so much. We had been marooned with a broken down car over the 3-day midsummer holiday and she helped us rebook our onward journey and suggested things to do in the area. "
