"I arrived at Ilanga Estate at about 4pm after driving over 650 kms from Durban . I was turned away at the gate and told the hotel is closed . "I don’t know where their excellent rating came from! This property is substandard to say the least. Holes in the sheets, walls dirty & room needed a coat of paint. Towel frayed & falling apart. Wire hangers, no accessible walk plugs. Bathroom & toilet carpets filthy. Etc etc I can go on but my point made "
