The decor is tasteful, the home very comfortable, and Melissa was very attentive and responsive. We had one issue upon check in but Melissa was quick to respond and resolve it. We definitely want to return and would recommend this property for your next vacation! Thanks for a wonderful stay, we enjoyed making new family memories!"

"Stayed here for 4 nights, during our move out of the area. Home is comfortable and our daughter loved the kid touches. The basket of toys and books were so much fun for her. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are well appointed. Two minor downsides, the kitchen showed some remnants of bugs. The owner said she was going to call pest control, but this was obviously missed by the cleaning crew. Additionally, there is quite a walk from where you park (near the garage) to the front door....

"We enjoyed our stay primarily for the cleanliness and location. It is across from a cemetery, but that didn’t bother us. Quiet neighbors, my husband said. But we loved the covered side porch and the comfy bed. Only down sides were the bathroom was very small, especially the shower, and the floors are pretty uneven, which would be a challenge for older guests (including the steep and slippery stairs up to the primary bedroom). Also, it appears that the owners suite is located just down the hall...

"Rented the property for my daughter’s graduation from ECU. So glad we picked this tranquil spot to stay rather than the city! The house has lots of space, the kitchen is well stocked with essentials, and the view from the living room is spectacular! Most of our time was spent sitting in the yard just talking! Enjoyed sun rises on the pier and some fishing, even though the fish weren’t biting much!"

"This was our second, but definitely not the last, time we stayed here for Easter. The house is well appointed and beautiful. The outdoor space was great for our group to spread out and have a grown up Easter egg hunt. We really love everything about this spot!"

"This clean and cozy VRBO is positioned perfectly within historical downtown Newbern. The Tryon Palace is directly across the street. Atlantic beach is 45 minutes away. You are in walking distance to many different types of restaurants. It was a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. We will be staying here again."

"This wonderful cottage was everything we were looking for when dropping our children off at Camp. Tasteful and thoughtful decor and amenities. Great private backyard and we really enjoyed the bikes and biking to downtown New Bern. Beautifully restored piece of local history and close to everything! Host was responsive and accommodating."

"The home was nice but I did not realize it was a condo setting. I did not like having to interrupt my stay by going to the check in office the following morning, since I did not arrive until 7 pm and they cut my door access off at 10 am the following morning."

"Us five siblings has a delightful gathering here. Plenty of room, had all the necessities and plenty of charm. We especially like the close proximity to shops, coffee houses, restaurants, the marina, etc. All within easy walking distance. Would stay here again and recommend to others.
