A short six-minute drive will take you to Downtown Blowing Rock, where you will find local dining and shopping, in addition to the community park. Hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway, about five minutes from the cabin, for scenic overlooks and numerous hiking trails. App Ski Mountain is only a 5-minute drive away! Fish right in front of this cabin in the river!

The property is very pretty. Our dog loved playing in the stream outside. Beautiful outdoors around the cabin. Comfortable seating areas were provided with fire pits. The only thing that bothered us was that it was so close to the highway and the traffic was loud. The host was easy to reach. The hot tub didn’t work during our stay, but the hosts offered a free night’s stay due to this. That was very nice. The cabin is great for a couple. Neighbors at nearby cabins were friendly as well.

Location was good. Easily accessible. The cabin lacked cleanliness. Dishes and cookware were visibly dirty. Shams on the bed had hair on them… looked like dog hair. This implied the blanket on the bed may also not have been cleaned. The sheets were clean. The living room furniture is minimal and extremely worn out. The hot tub was full but had a visible pool of dirt in the bottom. This place has so much potential. With a deep clean and a little love, it could be so much better.
