Patio door did not lock properly, literally the lock was broken and door would not lock. Communicated with property manager, that my party would check-out at 11:00 am. "We had only a short stay at the hotel and wish that we had been able to stay longer! Such a lovely property and wonderful staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the property is well maintained. Food was excellent. The pools are beautiful. Everything about our stay was perfect (other than it being too short!). The location is VERY convenient to airport, which was our main choice for a hotel since we had a 3am flight out in the morning."

"Very smart (inside and out) property on the beach with very well-equipped kitchen which we loved using. Cleaner Shereen came on weekdays at approx 9am. Beautiful beach and great snorkelling. Windy/overcast/cool several days (it was Mauritius winter) on this part of the coast but just walk around the corner to the more sheltered public bay/lagoon for calmer/more settled feel.Great mall nearby with good cheap eating options and supermarket. Fresh bread within walking distance and bamboo restaurant for lovely evening meal/drinks. Overall, a really enjoyable stay."

"I always enjoy staying at Preskil but I had a bit of a bad experience on my check in on Monday, 3 August. I arrived at 9h00 at the hotel and i know that check in was only at 14h00. We sat at the check in area the whole day and my room was not ready at 14h00. The communication was not so clear and if i have known it will take over the check in time i could have gone for a scrub at the spa that time. My 1 colleague had a room 2 hours before me and i sat there till 14h30 without knowing it will take that long. Tired and over it by then."

"The room was as advertised; a good size, comfortable and with a great sea view. The bathroom was a little tired. We had booked room only and paid for a continental breakfast on 2 days. The selection was adequate. Bar snacks, lunch and dinner menus had a good selection. Our room was steps from the beach. There were plenty of beach chairs and lounges and the area was well maintained daily. A great cafe and several restaurants are within walking distance. Free parking was available across the road. Every staff member we engaged with were professional and very friendly. We understand that the property will be undergoing a major renovation / rebuild in the near future which should upgrade the standard of the bathrooms and the guest amenities. We hope the one thing that doesn't change is the staff. Across all the services they were exceptional, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and enhance our stay."
