Cozy, private cottage for two

  • This second-floor cottage apartment is close to the harbor, shops and restaurants of historic Blue Hill. It's perfect for a quiet, local retreat or a launch pad to explore the beautiful Maine coast – from Barred Island Preserve in Deer Isle to Acadia National Park. During your stay, you can pick your own adventure – from hiking, swimming, or kayaking, to gallery-hopping, sight-seeing or attending local events.

    It's an open kitchen-living room with a gas fireplace, wi-fi, sofa, chairs and antique kitchen table. If you're looking to cook, the fully-equipped kitchen is ready for you and includes an electric stove and oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.

    The large carpeted master suite has a queen-sized bed, with comfortable linens and pillows, a large walk-in closet, ironing board and iron. There's also a washer and dryer available for your use.

    Sit on the private deck with a charming view of the woods. Wildlife sightings include deer, bobcat, turkeys, hawks and many songbirds. It's not uncommon to hear barred owls calling at night. The property is well maintained, quiet and private.
