Perfect for a mother/daughter weekend! Plenty of space to gather together for meals and hanging out, but nice bedrooms for each of us to retreat to at the end of the night. We had an absolutely lovely time.
Super convenient to downtown. Hosts were incredibly and courteous. The view was spectacular. Great swing on the porch for viewing pleasure. Only wish I had more rocking chairs since we had a party of 10 adults. I was happy to stay in or go out. Be sure to get specific directions to the cabin above and beyond Apple/Google/Waze maps.
Nice house, great location, beautiful views. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials plus a few spices. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap were also included. Only negative was the basement king bed seemed to be missing the box spring so it sagged.
Our family (me, husband, four kids ages 10, 11, 13, 17) stayed here at the start of spring for three nights. The owners were especially thoughtful in providing everyday items like paper towels, toiletries, etc - all the things you usually have to grab at the store when you arrive at a vrbo. They were easy to communicate with as well. The cabin looked just like the pictures. They even provided a digital house manual with local hot spots to visit and eat at. The house was spacious, and each of my kids enjoyed having their own room. Our favorite spot was the hang out space downstairs. It had a big, comfy couch, a foosball table, a tv, bean bag chairs, a mini basketball goal, and a low table perfect for playing cards and games. I would definitely stay here again.
Following Hurricane Helene hitting our area of GA, we learned power would potentially be off a week or longer. Our home, thankful escaped the worse but the town not so much. We decided we would leave the area as not to suck up resources.
This cabin was exactly what we needed. We saw rare deer, enjoyed the ac, and cooked all of our meals. We all had room to spread out and do our own things. We will definitely be back.
The cabin was most relaxing and perfect getaway. The location was peaceful and close to downtown. We loved the hot tub and cozy fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay , highly recommend!!!
The view was just beautiful. The hot tub porch swing, and fire pit were highlights for our group! As well as inside the TV, Dining room table, and placement of TVs were great.
Great cozy cabin for myself and several friends who were in town for a wedding. Very spacious and each room had plenty of privacy! Definitely intend to rent again in the future.
We enjoyed our stay. Had a family of 8 adults and 1 infant. Plenty of space. The only challenge was the lack of water pressure for a group our size. Only 1 shower at a time. But otherwise, it was a great stay. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Thank you for hosting us.
This is a beautiful cabin in the woods. The cabin is close to town for a day of exploring. It does need attention to outside maintenance. We did have to call to have some things corrected. The owners/service was responsive.
The listing was misleading and the unit was not where the pin was on the map! We got a treasure map two days before our stay with pictures so we could find the unit, down a path up a trail through the gate and through the field to the unit. NOT where the listing pin was at!!!!
Clean with a breath taking view!We enjoyed our stay very much and host was quick to respond we had issue checking in because wrong code was given. It is very hard to find it so follow instructions given. There was some damage from prior guests that included no hammock, broken drawers and shelves in fridge, scratches on doors.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. A few suggestion before we would rebook.Fireplace wasn’t workingOutside lights on second level didn’t workNo dry firewood onsite
While the directions were a little challenging to get to the cabin, a neighbor on the way in pointed the way. House was clean but the ice maker wasn’t working and left us a good size puddle to clean up on the kitchen and of course we had to buy ice. Water pressure in the house was a challenge as there was little to none if more than one shower or toilet was in use at the same time. The twin beds were very uncomfortable. We enjoyed our stay, the location was close to everything but hopefully these items can be addressed for the next guests.

Spring 2026
The building and grounds look like minimal upkeep done . Inside is worn , doors have visible scratches with paint repair needed . Kitch had ok but not spectacular. Wainscoting needs repair . Beds were ok but some without box spring , so very low. Best bedroom is the Master upstairs. Shower heads were plugged … Host was very timely and was responsive. It’s the property
This house met our needs and we enjoyed our stay. The view is lovely and the locations feels secluded even though it’s close to town. We enjoyed playing the corn hole set provided. The house was very clean. However, there were a few improvements needed. The hot stub was not accessible from the living spaces and could only be reached from the front parking area. The outdoor spaces were large, but the outdoor furniture was poor quality. The kitchen was not well stocked with basic equipment. Most was worn and in need of replacement.

Poorly Appointed and Furnished
The directions to the property were extremely hard to follow. The house and furniture was poorly decorated, cheep and uncomfortable. Bedding was terrible. Kitchen lacked common items normally found such as a pitcher, only 5 coffee cups, no crock pot or salad bowl. The positives- great TV and nice fire pit. Sorry won't be back here.

Weekend Get Away with Friends
Unfortunately, this was our worst stay we have ever booked through VRBO. When trying to find the cabin the address we were provided did not lead to the location. You had to be sent separate directions. The rental company’s number was not given in the rental information for assistance making it difficult to call during a time of panic (thinking we were scammed). Once we arrived at the cabin, the hot tub was broken and no one communicated this with us even though we were told it happened a week prior to our stay (we booked four days prior to our trip). The grounds were not well kept. The yard was full of weeds and overgrown grass, making the outside amenities not enjoyable. The air on the main floor did not work for the two nights we were there, even after calling the rental company for maintenance support. On the day of our checkout, when we went to put our trash in the bear locked can it was full old trash and covered in maggots. All complaints and pictures have been sent to the rental company (Home Team Vacation Rentals). Every time you call you get a different representative from the company who is not local. I will never book a rental through this company again.
