Enjoy nature at its finest while relaxing in this three story secluded, pet-friendly, true log cabin with all the modern amenities. Huge fire pit area & spacious deck with a picnic table. The Getaway is the perfect mountain retreat that meets the needs of all guests with its warm & friendly cabin lodge decor, huge hot tub on one of the two screened porches, wide screen TVs in Rec Rm, Fam Rm, Master BR, DVD player, board games & outdoor basketball hoop. Other amenities include a 8' pool table, wood burning stove, gas log fireplace & free WIFi. The private downstairs Game Room gives the young adults the privacy to play the night away, listen to music, watch TV or relax in the hot tub while enjoying the sounds of nature.

Antler Ridge Getaway : The cabin is approximately 2,100 ft. in elevation near the top of Laurel Ridge Mountain in Blue Ridge, Georgia. The road up the mountain (about 1 mile to the cabin) is gravel with some steep parts. Standard vehicles can drive up the mountain, but it can be easier with 4WD.
The bedrooms are spacious with queen beds on the main level & upper open loft, and a king bed in the upstairs master. One full bath is located on the main level across from the queen bedroom and the other on the upper level between the master bedroom and the loft area. The Rec Room offers a trundle bed (2 twins) with memory foam mattresses. The Getaway is on a no hunt/ no shoot mountain so wildlife abounds. The deer and wild turkey love to stop and watch as guests relax by the fire pit or on the decks.

The cabin is equipped with safety features, including a deadbolt smart lock with keypad for easy, contactless check-in. Security cameras offer coverage of the front door and outdoor patio/parking areas.

The Getaway is on 2.5 plus acres, secluded and is not in a gated community, nor do you have close neighbors, yet you do not feel totally isolated. The Benton MacKaye Trail, which connects to the Appalachian Trail, is also a short walk from the cabin. A mountain stream is at the foot of our mountain and run along the Benton MacKaye Trail. Downtown Blue Ridge, with its wonderful shops and antiquing, is about 6 miles away and features Blue Grass bands performing on the square throughout the year, carriage rides and a Farmers’ Market on Saturdays. Downtown Ellijay is about 10 minutes away.

100% as advertised. The view is beyond amazing. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The outside spaces are fantastic. Screened in porch and hot tub were bonuses. We will be repeat customers. The host was very communcative, check in/out process was easy.

Mountain Get Away

We have stayed in a number of cabins in the North Georgia mountains and feel this is the best property we have stayed in. We relaxed and had a great time! We will be looking to stay here again!

Absolutely perfect cabin on the mountain

Stunning views and a great cabin. Tons of outdoor seating and area to enjoy a fire and grill out. Less than 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Owner is very accommodating and great with communication, sent very detailed information well ahead of our trip and was very quick to answer any questions! We look forward to staying here again 😊

Cozy and quaint.

The property view was beautiful. The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable. The only complaint was the cabin had a really old smell to it. If you have allergies like me, it was a bit tough breathing the first night. Needs an air purifier. But I would stay here again.

The view was amazing, and the outdoor space is wonderful, especially for larger groups. Sarah was great to communicate with, and you're not too far from downtown Blue Ridge. My only major complaint would be the roads leading up to the cabin... they were rough. Overall, my husband and I had a great weekend getaway.

Apple picking weekend get away

Property was awesome. The view from patio made the trip. We took in the view drinking coffee in morning and by the fire at night. Perfect for one large or two small families.

Spring Break 2023

Nice cabin and we enjoyed our stay!

The property and cabin are both nice. However, it’s not as secluded as indicated by the listing. A lot of trees had been taking down which made the area and property more open to other houses. The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed the screened in porch. Also, we had a wild turkey visit us everyday during our stay.

Cozy cabin in the woods

Cozy cabin. Nice view. Kept warm with a nice toasty fire in the fireplace in the living room. Pool table was fun (little tight on space but still enjoyable) Hot tub was fantastic for the chilly February mountain air. Drive up was exciting! Zero issues in 4WD but we drove up during a giant storm so it’s tough to gauge the actual conditions of the road.

Nice cabin. Good directions. Loved the area. Hot tub didn’t get hot enough. The grill is pretty beat up. Number 1 disappointment was that you could see and hear highway traffic. Overall was good.

Four adults and two dogs stayed at the cabin for a long weekend. Our stay was good but not quite what I was expecting from the reviews. The kitchen was very small with almost no counter space. The bedrooms upstairs were large, but hard to navigate with very slanted ceilings (including the bathroom, not good for someone my height). It was fairly clean, but my dog kept finding orange peels under the furniture and two used (very smelly) yogurt containers. Not great when there are rodents in the area. The main feedback is the listing is not very clear on the road access. The road is in terrible condition and there were many areas where the drive was almost straight up. We had two small SUVs (Rav4s) and barely made it to the cabin. It would be very difficult for a small car to make it. Luckily our plan was to mostly stay at the cabin, but if we had planned to go into town multiple times or get an Uber for a winery I would have been very disappointed. We did not use the hot tub.

Cute, cozy, family friendly

We enjoyed our long weekend getaway at Angler Ridge, it was the perfect spot with 4 adults, 1 infant and 2 dogs. The kitchen had all the basic necessities we needed for meals, there were tons of blankets to keep us warm, and the extras like baby gates, dog crates, and pack and play was an added bonus that kept our packing lighter. The drive up to the cabin was not bad, I was prepared for worse after reading reviews and the owners instructions but we had an easy time in both an SUV with AWD, and a small sedan. Views from the hot tub and outdoors areas are unmatched! The drive into downtown is short (half the drive is the trip up the gravel road to the cabin). I would recommend!

This lovely cabin is in a great location for exploring the area. The view from the porch is amazing. Kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of pots, a Keurig, lots of dishes. It is nicely furnished. We loved the hot tub and the pool table for nice relaxing evenings with the family. The road up to the cabin is a little harrowing the first time you go up.
