The property is exactly as presented online, and the owners have thought of everything you need to enjoy your stay. Sheri was so helpful and provided lots of info about the area before we arrived. We especially loved the fire pit area and sitting on the steps down to the stream. Super comfortable bedding as well.
The house was so nice, clean and so cozy. Checking in was a breeze and everything we needed was provided. Our kids loved playing outback in the creek and our dog loved the fenced in property to roam. Our host were excellent and we will def be staying here again in the future
Wonderful home, exactly as the pictures describe the home. The front yard is great for the dogs, the home is beautiful and well stocked, and the backyard is perfect for evening fires. We plan to stay again there next year.
Our family spent a wonderful long weekend at this property. We all enjoyed the cozy cottage and game room. We played in the creek and watched tv while soaking in the hot tub. Beautiful outdoor space! Would definitely come back again.
We rented the property to celebrate my Mother's Birthday. The stay was better than we expected! The backyard provides all the entertainment and then some. We especially enjoyed the firepit and the hot tub. Very clean and friendly place to breath the fresh air! Downtown Blue Ridge is minutes away in the car, and what a turn out it was with all the kids/adults dressed in a Halloween costume! We will plan to visit this property again - Thank you!
This is a fantastic place to stay when in Blue Ridge area. The cabin is clean, has everything you need plus. We found everything was in working order, the sounds of the creek are so peaceful. The front yard has safe play area for dogs or children. The backyard space is accomodating, comfortable and so nice. Excellent communication with property manager. We will return when in area.
Sheri was an outstanding host. She really goes above and beyond with excellent communication. Everything you could need is provided. The backyard space is incredible with the hot tub right by the creek with a tv and fire pit. The front yard is so spacious and beautiful as well. We had the best time and didn’t want to leave the property and that’s saying a lot.
We looked forward to a relaxing vacation and were not disappointed with our stay. The charm of the home is enhanced by the serene location on the beautiful creek. There were so many options at the property and the surrounding area that we need to come back again. We visited the waterfalls, vineyards apple orchards and distilleries and then came back to the cabin for a dip in the hot tub, a crackling fire in the fire pit and playtime with the pups in the fenced front yard which they thoroughly enjoyed. We even drove to Helen for Oktoberfest. The scenic drive was amazing. Sheri and Greg were great hosts and wanted to make sure we enjoyed every minute of our vacation. We highly recommend a stay at this wonderful home. An aside note: we also highly recommend Evolutionary k9 to watch your pups if you want some alone time to see the sights. Our pups absolutely loved visiting with Billy and his staff and all their pup friends there.
The property was exactly as described. Loved having the fenced in yard. Very well equipped. Quick to respond when I had a question. Would definitely stay there again! Thanks for sharing your lovely place!
We had a wonderful week here. The owners are great to work with and very responsive. The cabin and grounds has everything you could want (and more) ... table shuffleboard, pacman gaming table .. even towels for the hot tub and blankets for the fire pit!!! It was so nice at the end of the day to go out back and soak in the hot tub and later enjoy the firepit. An amazing place, including a wonderful big fenced front yard that our pooch Maggie got to enjoy.
This was an incredible spot! The outdoor activites were fantastic: the hottub, campfire, or going on walks/fly fishing down the creek (bring water shoes). All amenities were fantastic: i.e. the sheer quantity and quality of towels and outdoor blankets for the outdoor activities was phenominal. It’s close enough to two different quaint towns that you have plenty of options for food, breweries and wineries, and far enough away to not be caught in crowds if you don’t want. Usually go on around 5 trips a year and this was one of the most fun and relaxing place I’ve ever stayed. Can’t wait to go back!
The property is everything described and more. The owners go above and beyond to ensure that you have everything you need. The outside sitting area is very relaxing. We enjoyed the games. You really could see and feel the time and extras they put into the home and your stay. The dogs really loved it as well. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to others. I would like to add our fur babies loved the treats and toys. It is a very family friendly cabin.
This place is absolutely amazing! When my wife and I weren’t out exploring we were either in the hot tub watching a movie, or sitting by a fire listening to the fightingtown creek. The interior of the house is very well decorated. The kitchen is stocked pretty well with everything you could really need cooking wise. It is far enough for the noise of towns and such where you can really enjoy nature, but yet it’s close enough where it doesn’t take a long time to get to blue ridge. It’s a 10-15 minute drive to town. Our only regret is we only stayed 3 nights. We are definitely planning to come back and spend more time at this cabin.
This is our first time booking with VRBO and I’m so glad we did. This place matches the description perfectly and the owners have made sure all the details are there. Our group enjoyed the all the amenities and everything worked great. It was nice to have multiple activities to do even with the rain. The road is gravel up to the house, but it is well maintained and marked. The owner was very responsive to our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. It was also nice to have small plates/silverware/cups for the toddler in our group. There is a pack n play and high chair as well. We usually don’t stay at the same rental twice, but this place we will come back to.
