Everything was perfect! The kids love the games and arcade. My partner and I loved reliving our old date nights and playing pool and darts. Complete breeze to get to downtown blue ridge. Our 5 year old asked if we could go back next weekend.

50th Birthday Celebration

We had a wonderful time celebrating a dear friend’s 50th birthday! The cabin was perfect for 8 of us! It was very clean and had lots of activities to do included with the cabin. We would stay there again in a heart beat!

Team Retreat

This place was great. We hosted a 4 day retreat for our team members. Plenty of space for our group brainstorming sessions and for individual space. Short ride into town for dinners.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Fantastic and peaceful

The house was well furnished, very clean with serene views or surrounding trees. The drive to the cabin was very easy with plenty of parking and close to the downtown area (9 minutes to be exact). Bedding, furniture and game room were great for entertaining and there are multiple fire places indoor and outdoor to cozy-up to. 10/10 recommend this cabin

Very nice cabin

Cabin was nice, clean and well stocked. Additionally, it had plenty of extracurricular's such as darts, pool, fire-pit, and hot tub.

Great Cabin

Cabin was great! Very convenient to downtown Blueridge. Our family loved the game room and the outside games cornhole and disk golf. We hope to come back one day soon!

Spring Break getaway

Enjoyed our trip with husband and 2 college age adults. Beautiful property, easy to find and close to Blue Ridge. Central location for our daily outings. Really enjoyed the outdoor spaces. Would recommend and book again.

Anniversary Getaway

The cabin was exactly as described. It was well stocked with all needed necessities. There was plenty of space for all. We enjoyed the decks/patio, pool table and other games. The cabin is close distance to downtown. We enjoyed everything about this cabin.

Fun Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Bearpaw. The game room was perfect and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and easy ride in. We were met with deer every morning and evening. We would definitely visit this cabin again. Oh…. Strong WiFi too for the teenager of the family 😂

Great Stay Over Christmas

Although it rained for our entire stay, we very much enjoyed spending Christmas at this cabin. The fireplace on the porch was probably our favorite spot to be and it didn't matter that it was raining as we were covered and still had plenty to do. I would recommend this cabin and am considering another stay later this year. It's easy to get to and fairly close to town.

Gorgeous Cabin

This cabin far exceeded our expectations of a cabin. It was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone busy during our stay. There was also enough room to where our family was able to gather together for our “after Christmas” celebration and not feel like we were on top of each other the whole time. We will definitely stay again when we are in Blue Ridge!

Clean cozy cabin

Lots of board games, lots of entertainment options, the patios are well furnished making outdoor time very pleasant. Relatively private but can see one cabins back patio from the back, and you could hear the neighboring cabins when they were being loud. The kitchen was well stocked with seasonings and adequate kitchen tools. It was clean and cozy. Three bedrooms on three floors also would make it nice for some privacy if traveling with multiple groups.

Perfect Cabin

We were impressed with the cleanliness, accuracy of listing description in person, blankets in each room (so you’re not searching in closets for them), nice kitchen area and dining area for family gathering, comfy couch in main living area, and we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and throwing darts in the basement. Owners were prompt to respond. We would most definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

Great Fall Break

Great fall break for two families. We really enjoyed the game room downstairs most of all. Host was prompt with responses/requests. Downtown was only 7 minutes away. Would recommend for a reasonable place to stay especially with teens/kids. Met all of our needs. My only critique, if you can call it that, would be the sheets. Didn’t like the material. Otherwise would recommend!

Peaceful Retreat in the Mountains

I have really racked my brain to try and see if there is any negative feedback about this property, but there is absolutely nothing negative I can write about it. The only thing that may not be right is that the online listing does not tell just how amazing this home is. Many times when you get to a vacation rental you are a little disappointed because the listing had made the property look better than it actually is. This is not the case. We were so excited to find the cabin exceeded the listing and pictures. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Whoever does the cleaning needs to be commended for an excellent job. Andy and Karen were pleasant hosts. They were quick to reply to any questions we had. The whole process of renting their cabin, checking in and checking out was very easy. We could not have asked for a better location. It was close to the many things we wanted to do. We had a much needed relaxing vacation. We especially enjoyed the outdoor fireplace on the deck. We sat out there till late reading and talking by the fire. The kitchen was very nice. It provided a lot of space to cook and prepare meals. We ate most of our meals out on the deck looking out over the beautiful fall leaves on the many trees. The bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Overall this is one of the top places we have ever stayed, and hopefully we will be able to return soon. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us.

Beautiful Cabin

The inside of the cabin is beautiful and just as described. We loved playing pool, corn hole, darts and other games provided. The hot tub was great. We didn't cook much, but it had what we needed in the kitchen. Our only complaints, which may not matter to anyone else, was an old, abandoned house trailer that is right in your view from the fire pit. (The cabin owners do not own it apparently.) We were just shocked when we pulled up and it was the first thing we saw. It was unexpected, but not a deal breaker for us. We just weren't expecting it from the pictures. The other issue was right next door a new cabin is being built. This shouldn't be an issue for long, but some mornings the hammering, nailing, and generator started up at 7:50 a.m. It was our son's spring break, and he wanted to sleep in of the mornings. Thankfully he was able to do that, but it woke my husband and me up every morning. The owners did offer to refund us if we wanted to leave. That was a nice offer, but we chose to stay since we were already settled in and didn't want to spend time searching for another place. The good thing is the building shouldn't take long and affect other renters after it is finished. The only other thing that could bother some people is the floors are very loud in places when you walk. When our son was walking around on the top floor, it was "wake you up" loud. If someone had slept in the basement, I'm sure our walking would have bothered them. But it's a great cabin overall.
