Kids loved playing in the creek and plenty of room for them to run around inside & out. Having a second refrigerator in the laindry room was a benefit for our large group. House needs a few minor updates but nothing that impeded our visit. Only issue was one of the upstairs bedroom was missing a bed listed. We were able to make a pullout couch in the loft work. Enjoyed our stay. We'd return.

Beautiful and perfect family stay!

We truly enjoyed our time in this home and it worked perfectly for our family get together. There were 20 of us and we all fit all throughout the home with no issues. Our only complaint was that the lighting in the main living area was very dark since there is wood on walls. So the kitchen, living room, and loft area had poor lighting at night. Everything else was great. The kids loved the creek and game room. Adults loved the big table and hot tub!

Stunning property!

We had an amazing stay at River Dream. It was clean, spacious, had a beautiful property and very good communication! The kitchen was well stocked, the beds comfy, and the fire pit and hot tub were just perfect. We had a large group staying and had my wedding here and it was just magical. The sound of the stream, the views... It was such a pleasant surprise, thank you so much for accommodating our family.

Came Back for Second Stay!

What a hidden gem. My friends and I stayed at Dream Big last year for a reunion, and the property had everything we could want. The location to the river is perfect for floating and fishing. The property had huge grills and a black stone so we were never hungry! Athens property owner is very attentive and I cannot wait to come back next year!!!

Perfect family property

Beautiful property! Large and spacious. Our family loved this cabin. We enjoyed the fire pit nightly and all of the games available. So quiet and peaceful sitting on the oversized porch overlooking the creek and river.

Wonderful and Beautiful

This cabin is beautiful inside and out! We had 16 guests and there was plenty of room for everyone with extra beds left over! The outside is perfect for relaxing or fishing in the river. Our family loved it here and will definitely be back! Andy was great to work with and he was excellent on communicating!

Beautiful family getaway

The house and the property were beautiful. The house was clean and inviting. The property was a fun place for the adults and the kids. The little stream was a great place for the kiddos to play. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around outside as well. All in all it was one of our favorite places that we have stayed at in the Blue Ridge, GA area.

Such a wonderful location. Our group was there for a corporate retreat. We had plenty of space and beautiful views. The kitchen was ample and stocked with plenty of utensils and amenities. We had a little trouble with the fireplace but the host was incredibly responsive Our only regret was not having more time there.

Great Family Vacation!

This cabin was the best cabin I’ve ever stayed in! My extended family travels to the mountains every year but this location has been the best! The cabin itself is spacious and clean. The property manager, Andy, is very attentive and responds quickly! The house has plenty of rooms and plenty of beds for our family of 22. We loved the fire pit and porch swings around it! We spent time listening to music and thinking about my uncle who passed away last year that loved the mountains. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing Xmas

This was our 18 person family’s first time to do a Vacation Away Xmas! And we couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot!!! Enough beds, bedrooms & bathrooms! Each room was spacious & great beds! The basement was a delight to all our kiddos! Anddddd the outside was fantastic!!! We loved the grounds & the mountain get away atmosphere!! Thank you so much for having all the kitchen needs to make it less stressful!! It was all 🙌🙌🙌 thank you!

High school Group

The facilities were perfect for our group. Two negatives would be that there is no cable or satellite TV and we were all over 60 so struggled to watch NFL Draft which was the purpose of the trip. Also stairs down to back yard need to be replaced.

A beautiful place to enjoy with the whole family

Gorgeous property on the water with plenty of room for our family (20 guests) with beds to spare. Large dining area allowed us to eat and play some games together as a family. Some of the younger ones gravitated to the bunks, and game room downstairs with the pool table being the mvp. Would have utilized the fire pit seating if not for the rain but gas grill was huge and cooked the hotdogs we wanted over the fire in no time. Its about a half hour to anywhere but the mountain roads will keep you alert and young with lots of natural beauty everywhere so no one minded. There is a monument to the show squidbillies nearby which my husband found hilarious. Would stay again and def recommend for large groups.

Great Getaway

This is a great property for families who may be traveling together with children. Three stories and plenty of bathrooms and beds to accommodate what I would think would be most of any mix of groups. The property is a great size plenty of room for kids to be outside and play as well as enjoy the creek. The kitchen is well supplied with pots and pans, and the host has allowed items to be left from previous visitors, such as seasonings, and things that you would either have to bring with you and use just a little bit of or go by the store, which is an hour away. We found the outside grills to be in working condition and did most of our cooking on the Blackstone, which is fantastic when cooking for large groups.The only negative thing and it's not that big of a deal to me is the property does need some maintenance on the exterior and interior but none of that was detrimental to our stay in any way. To some degree it should be expected from a property that is primarily used as a short term rental hosting families with children.

Amazing Place to stay!!

The home was better than we could have imagined. It was perfect for our event and the Owner Andy was very helpful and responsive. Beautiful landscape from the river to the horses and cows across the street that would visit every morning then go back over the mountain. Home has lots of space so we never felt crowded. We had 17 staying and then had a wedding party of 75 outside on Saturday. This should be a wedding venue. So gorgeous with the bridge over the creek and large flat yard which you do not find much in the mountains. We had the mountains for the scenery backdrops but not hilly where the home is located. This was especially important for our guests. Thank you Andy for an amazing weekend and beautiful memories.

Not a Terrible Place

The cabin had plenty of space for sleeping arrangements, but the common areas were quite small. It could have been a bit cleaner. The floors had some trash, surfaces were dusty, broken blinds, and the couches were definitely old and worn. Listing stated there was cable tv, but none of the tvs had cable, not sure if it was a satellite issue, but the weather was good and we tried to troubleshoot to no avail. It took us about 40 minutes to get to downtown blue ridge. 35 minutes to the closest Walmart. 16 minutes to the closest winery. All in all, it was an okay place to stay for the weekend, but we will probably try to find somewhere more convenient and with a bit more open space in the common areas. Also, the master bedroom did not have its own bathroom, which wasn’t an issue for us. The host was nice and communication was good.

Beautiful Mountain Escape Nestled in a River Valley

Overall, this location was a great place for us to stay as a group. I am a student pastor, and we brought our group of 30 people here for summer retreat this year. We ran into a snag upon arrival. For context, the house is divided into 3 levels (upstairs, main level, and basement) and each has multiple bedrooms to accommodate guests. Per the listing, there was ample room to house our girls on the main floor and upstairs and allow our guys to bunk downstairs in the massive bunk room (HUGE PLUS because this room is awesome). However, the upstairs room that was supposed to have a king and 2 twins (with trundles) only had a king bed. We ended up having to have 4 chaperones sleep on the couches (Not pullouts) around the house. We initially picked this location because it slept 30 in beds according to the listing. We made it work and everyone got a place to lay their head at night and we adjusted; we just wish things had been different. As for the cleanliness of the cabin, almost every room was spotless save for some random things in the kitchen. One of the coffee makers still had leftover grinds in the drip hopper that had begun to grow mold. This issue was not a reflection on the host or the home, but of the cleaning company. The host was SUPER RESPONSIVE about every need we had, and except for the crazy bed situation, we had an amazing time at this cabin. I would definitely come again, but would bring less people. Note: Verizon, AT&T, & T-Mobile have ZERO service.
