The Haven on Toccoa - River deck | Fire Pit | Hot Tub | Outdoor Fireplace
Welcome to The Haven on Toccoa — a stunning modern mountain lodge set on over two private, wooded acres with 230 feet of riverfront and jaw-dropping 360° views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Designed for both relaxation and adventure, this luxurious retreat comfortably sleeps 14 and offers an unforgettable stay in the heart of North Georgia's mountain beauty.
Outside, you'll find multiple gathering spaces that make the most of the natural setting. A screened-in side porch with a wood-burning fireplace offers a cozy, bug-free space to enjoy the fresh mountain air year-round. It's perfect for morning coffee, evening wine, or curling up with a good book by the fire.
Just steps from the house, a beautifully landscaped fire pit sits right along the banks of the Toccoa River, where you can roast marshmallows to the sound of rushing water. Even better, follow the path down to the private river deck, where a second fire pit awaits. From here, you can walk directly into the river to fish for trout, launch a tube, take a refreshing dip, or simply sit with your feet in the water and soak in the peaceful mountain surroundings.
Inside, the lodge is a warm blend of rustic charm and high-end style, featuring rich wood accents, Tennessee fieldstone, and modern furnishings. The great room boasts a cathedral ceiling, massive windows framing the mountain views, leather seating, a custom gas fireplace, a 75” Smart TV, Bluetooth speakers, and board games for family fun. Pull-out king beds in the sofas provide extra sleeping space.
The gourmet kitchen features granite countertops, wood cabinetry, a professional-grade gas range, stainless appliances, and an island with stool seating. The dining table, along with the island stool seating, accommodates 12 guests, making it perfect for group meals and gatherings.
Four bedrooms, including two luxurious king suites, offer peaceful, private accommodations. The main-level master has direct access to the deck and hot tub, while the upstairs master boasts a spa-style bath with a clawfoot jetted tub and walk-in glass shower. A bunk room sleeps four, and an additional king bedroom ensures everyone has space. There are 3.5 bathrooms throughout the home.
Upstairs, what was once a reading nook is now an entertainment zone for kids and the young at heart. This fun-filled area includes a Pac-Man arcade game console loaded with 14 different classic Pac-Man titles, plus a foosball table—plenty of entertainment for rainy days or evening fun.
The Haven is just five minutes from the Aska Adventure Area, where you can hike scenic trails, discover waterfalls, go tubing or canoeing on the Toccoa River, or explore the area on horseback. Whether you're here to relax or roam, the location offers the best of both worlds—and yes, it's just a short drive into downtown Blue Ridge for shopping, dining, and sightseeing when you want a taste of town life.
Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, DISH streaming, laundry, ceiling fans throughout, and dog-friendly accommodations for up to two dogs (with fee). With unmatched mountain views, riverside access, and elegant comfort inside and out, The Haven on Toccoa is not just a rental—it's an experience.

We had a great time with our 5 kids and another family! The cabin is on a beautiful property and was kept immaculately! There were clear instructions on how to use things and lots of memories made! We’d definitely come back!
This cabin is fun and luxury combined! The cabin itself was super clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and had almost everything we needed. The grounds had so many places for us to enjoy, from the screened porch, the hot tub, the fire pit and river view seating. It was a wonderful stay and we will definitely book this cabin again
We had an amazing time and have already thought about booking a future visit! We spent a majority of our time by the fire on the outdoor screened in porch. The house was clean and we had plenty of room. The river is right in the backyard and was beautiful.
Everything was as advertised, extremely peaceful and great views! Trout fishing was not the right river location but worth the trip!

the Haven
Very pretty property, however location is remote. You need to be prepared with all items you need for the length of your stay or run the risk of doing without. Nearest grocery is at least 40 minutes away and you need to negotiate narrow mountain roadways to get there. Appliances seemed cheap and never worked in at least one case (the washer). The management company was very responsive to our requests but, after the third call, we were tired of people other than ourselves being in the cabin and decided to write off any other needed repairs (e.g.: they attempted to fix the washer but were not successful. They were able to replace some needed light bulbs and got the outdoor spa cleaned up and filled to the correct level, but the spa took two days before someone was able to respond. They were able to fix the inside electric fireplace.) I also highly recommend bringing plenty of soap, kitchen towels, toilet paper, and ESPECIALLY garbage bags as your initial supply will not last you a full week. You will also want to bring a sharp knife if needed and possibly some cooking equipment as the kitchen is poorly furnished with pots and pans, and those that are there are in poor condition. Plenty of plates and silverware and a coffee pot, slow cooker, griddle, and toaster. Bring your own spices. If you plan to fish, plan on coming in the spring or summer. Thanksgiving week is not a good time to trout fish but trout fishing is available on the property other times.
The house was clean and in good condition, and a pretty good location, in between where we went hiking (15-20 min to the Swinging bridge and Little Rock Creek Falls) and about 30 minutes from town. Our kids and dog really enjoyed the open yard, and hot tub (though the hot tub was not very clean). Of note, the house was not stocked at all other than dishwasher detergent and paper products so you will need to bring every perishable item you would need for cooking (ie, salt/pepper, oils, etc)
Beautiful property! Very clean. Would love to see some easier access down to river, maybe some landscaping/tiering to be able to get in and out easier along with easier fishing. Would also love to see end tables on both sides of bed along with some hooks or tables over by hot tub to put towels/drinks.
The valley view and river access was special. We had a large family but the space was accommodating and also cozy enough for good conversations. We will return.
Beautiful property. Pictures are accurate. Lots of room. Spacious and Comfortable. Good communication. Will definitely return. Fall is most likely gorgeous in this spot!
Our stay, was a much needed getaway. The house is beautiful. Lots of bedrooms & restrooms so no one have to wait for one another. It’s clean and we got a cute welcome goodie box and welcoming note. It’s clean inside out, the hot tub and the outside patio was just so relaxing even with kids we can still enjoy and have a great time even though it was raining and we only have one sunshine day to be by the river and let the kids enjoy the beautiful big yard. My only complaint is the internet service isn’t that good so our movie night was a no go.
The barn swallows have made a huge mess at the front door and on the covered porch. Everytime you left and came back the furniture under the covered porch was covered with mud from the swallows. The fans under the porch didn’t work. The water pressure in the kitchen sink was very low so the dishwasher struggled to get dishes clean. The rest of the house and property was very nice. Tried fishing behind the house with no luck. Saw quite a few deer and turkeys.

Beautiful cabin, beautiful location
Beautiful cabin, beautiful surroundings. I messaged the personal host Pamela before trip and didn’t ever receive a response. If interested, I’d recommend booking straight through “Escape to Blue Ridge” rather than vrbo. The neighbor is friends with property owner and have cameras facing “their fence” aka the cabin’s entry point. We enjoyed the beautiful river. Beds were comfortable. We did have to climb to make the 4 bunk beds ourselves when we got there which was frustrating. Because it is dog friendly and they don’t wash the accent pillows, we kept finding dog hair on the bed and rugs (we did not bring our dog). The rock cave shower had a couple spider webs in it and a wad of black hair on the floor of the shower drain on our arrival
(I’m blonde). “Welcome to the cabin, here’s things for you to do and clean.” They gave a nice welcome box of candies when first getting there. Keep in mind, that time wise, the Cabin is actually slightly quicker to downtown Blairsville than it is to downtown Blue Ridge. The large, lush yard gave our children plenty of room to run and play. Although more attentive housekeeping was needed, We had a nice & relaxing time!
This was a beautiful property, well-maintained and cared for. The rooms were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our group of 9. The outdoor area was perfect for kids and adults. We all had a wonderful time staying here and would definitely come back.
